WASHINGTON, DC: Conservative radio host Erick Erickson did not hold back on Monday, November 24, as he criticized recent failures surrounding President Donald Trump’s administration, stating that “It looks like amateur hour has returned.”

The POTUS has had a rough few days, and the conservative radio host listed some of his team’s biggest missteps, including continued attacks on Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ).

Erick Erickson slams Trump team for mounting unforced errors

Erick Erickson took to X on Monday, November 24, writing, “The kids in the Executive Branch, working on behalf of the president,” before offering his list of unforced errors.

The list read, “Pushed the President on a plan to extend Obamacare subsidies without having buy in from House and Senate Republicans. Elevated the stature of Democratic Senator Mark Kelly as Democrats had been flirting with Gavin Newsom. Put out a Ukraine plan no one really likes. Failed to fill 18 judicial vacancies in 9 red states that have been open for months.” Erickson concluded his post by writing, “It looks like amateur hour has returned.”

Interestingly, there were reports over the weekend that Trump would release his plan to replace the expiring Obamacare subsidies, which would increase health insurance premiums for struggling Americans.

However, on Monday, the announcement was reportedly delayed two weeks after “backlash” from Republican lawmakers. The radio host also argued that Pete Hegseth’s investigation into Mark Kelly was a mistake, seeming to warn that Kelly is a more formidable opponent than other Democrats. Meanwhile, investigative political reporter Paul Sperry said on Monday that Trump may be preparing to shake up his team.

“DEVELOPING: Senior White House aides and Cabinet heads are bracing for major personnel shakeup as insiders tell me POTUS is growing increasingly unhappy with ‘economic messaging,’ among other things. Shakeup could include chief of staff in new year … developing …,” Sperry posted on X.

Trump accuses Ukraine’s leadership of showing ‘zero gratitude’

President Donald Trump on Sunday, November 23, accused Ukraine’s leadership of showing “zero gratitude” for US support, sharpening his criticism of Kyiv amid backlash over his administration’s proposed 28-point Russia-Ukraine peace framework.

In a Truth Social post, Trump denounced Ukraine’s "leadership" without naming President Volodymyr Zelensky and again blamed Ukrainian leaders and former President Joe Biden for the continuing conflict. “The War between Russia and Ukraine is a violent and terrible one that, with strong and proper US and Ukrainian leadership, would have never happened,” the POTUS wrote.

He further argued that if he had won in 2020, “Putin would never have attacked! It was only when he saw Sleepy Joe in action that he said, ‘Now is my chance!’ The rest is history… I inherited a war that should have never happened, a war that is a loser for everyone, especially the millions of people that have so needlessly died.”

The president then accused Ukraine’s leaders of failing to recognize America’s help, even though Zelensky publicly thanked Trump and the US before and after their reportedly tense Oval Office meeting in February 2025.
