WASHINGTON, DC: UFC President Dana White tried to brush off GOP leaders' personal attacks on Vice President Kamala Harris as "nasty BS" typical to politics during his interview with CNN's Laura Coates on Friday, July 26.

He joined Coates on the evening to discuss his support for Donald Trump, as well as his introduction of the former president at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee last week, as per Mediaite

During the interview, Laura Coates brought up the subject of Republican leaders such as Rep Tim Burchett (R-TN) referring to Vice President Kamala Harris, the presumptive Democratic nominee, as a "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) hire."

Noting that White "prides" himself on giving equal opportunity to men and women in UFC, the CNN host asked, "What do you think of this message that attacks the race and gender of an opponent?"

The UFC CEO replied, "I don’t judge people by their politics and who they vote for or any of that stuff. Listen, I don’t know Kamala. She seems like she’s a nice person. I have nothing against her whatsoever and, like I said, I’m not political, but do I think that she’s fit for the job? I do not, personally."

Coates dived deeper into the issue and referenced a recently resurfaced video of Trump's running mate JD Vance, where he is seen criticizing Americans who don't have children and declaring Democrats are ruled by "childless cat ladies."

"These are not things that are in line with enveloping perhaps women into the fold which I think you have always stood for, you say, in your sport. Why shouldn’t that be the same in politics?" asked the host.

White swiftly responded, "Listen, politics are the most disgusting, nasty — it’s atrocious what is said. And the things that are being said on one side are being said on the other side too about Trump and his choice for vice president. It goes both ways."

"I don’t know that it’s going both ways. You have the childless cat ladies," said Coates, but White interjected saying, "Oh, come on!"

Nonetheless, she continued, "A DEI hire?! You think Kamala Harris is calling JD Vance a DEI hire, Dana? Come on."

"But either way, she’s going to say other nasty stuff about both of them. It goes both ways," retorted White, adding, "And as voters, what we need to do is cut through all the BS and you have to look at who do you think is best fit to run the country for the next four years. That is our job as voters. All of this stuff is a bunch of nasty BS."

Internet slams Dana White over his comments regarding GOP's attacks on Kamala Harris

Netizens were quick to slam Dana White as he called the attacks on Kamala Harris typical political "BS."

"He doesn't know her, but doesn't think she's fit for the job. Riiiiiight," wrote a person and someone added, "Republicans not being racist or sexist challenge: impossible."

Another expressed, "DEI describes Trump. Deranged, egomaniacal, incompetent," while one more remarked, "Dana White is well practiced in misogyny."

An individual pointed out, "How stupid are Magats?...when they call her dei, they discount that she's a lawyer, prosecutor,District attorney, attorney general, Senator and vice president.... What they are really saying is she shouldn't be where she is because she's a minority.... Its the only reason, cuz clearly she's got the chops."
