Darrell Sheets’ final years marked by alleged harassment and ongoing investigation
At the time of his death, Sheets had been living in Arizona following his retirement. He operated an antique store named 'Havasu Show Me Your Junk' and had appeared on the show for 13 seasons, with his final appearance airing in 2023.
In the aftermath of his passing, resurfaced Facebook posts revealed claims of ongoing distress. Sheets had alleged that he was targeted by a “cyber bully stalker” who used hundreds of spoof phone numbers and multiple online identities.
According to his statements, this individual impersonated him, harassed small businesses, and extorted money from several people while using his name.
Nezhoda has urged law enforcement to investigate these allegations further. A police spokesperson confirmed that authorities are aware of the cyberbullying claims and that they form part of an active investigation.

He claimed that the individual behind the harassment had also targeted other local businesses while impersonating him. He repeatedly insisted that the actions were not his own, writing, “It is not me!”
