Moore shared a carousel of Instagram photos from the fitting, including moments of the mother-daughter duo together as Tallulah tried on her gown and placed a veil on her head. Close family and friends were also present, including her older sisters, Rumer Willis and Scout Willis.
“A glimpse into my beloved Tallulah’s wedding dress fitting,” Moore captioned the post, adding, “All the tender moments leading up to her beautiful day are forever etched in my heart. So grateful we were able to share this precious event together as a family.”
Tallulah responded to her mother’s post, writing, “I love you mamas.” Moore also thanked Pier Paolo Piccioli for creating the dress, writing, “Thank you Pier Paolo Piccioli for designing such a remarkable dress and making my sweet girl’s dreams come true.”
Piccioli designed the custom Balenciaga gown, which marked one of his first bridal designs since taking on his role at the fashion house, according to Vogue. Tallulah worked with Moore’s longtime stylist Brad Goreski and the Balenciaga team to create her wedding look.
The gown required 712 hours of work, including 405 hours of construction and atelier alterations, while the veil required an additional nine hours. Scout recalled that Tallulah had once been looking at Etsy wedding dresses.
She said, “This was like six months ago. She was like ‘What about this one?’ and it was on Etsy. From Etsy to Balenciaga couture — that’s a moment. Who would have thought?”
Tallulah Willis and Justin Acee’s relationship and journey to marriage
The duo announced their engagement in December after Tallulah shared a photo of the couple holding hands over a rose-petal-covered path, with her engagement ring visible, and captioned it, “Everyday.”
Moore celebrated the engagement by writing, “A Christmas proposal. Congratulations — we love you.”
She wrote that her heart was “so full,” calling their relationship “the most beautiful love to witness and watch grow.” Scout also celebrated, writing on Instagram Stories that her “angels are engaged.”
Tallulah has previously opened up about the comfort she finds in her relationship with Acee. In an August 2024 interview with PEOPLE, she shared, “Waking up laughing with my partner would be the best kind of day, which I will be honest happens a lot.”
She also described taking their two bigger dogs for neighborhood walks and spending downtime together, including moments when they would sit on the couch and go “nonverbal.” Tallulah also discussed visiting her father, Bruce Willis, who lives with frontotemporal dementia.
She explained that she tries to be “solid” and present when visiting him, adding that her family meets him “where he’s at.” In June, Tallulah shared photos of herself, Bruce and Acee visiting her grandmother’s house, captioning the post, “Sunday funday at Grams! Grateful.”
