Demi Moore pays moving tribute to Rob Reiner and his wife Michele: 'They were amazing people'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Actress Demi Moore has paid a heartfelt tribute to filmmaker and long-time collaborator Rob Reiner, who was found dead along with his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, in their Brentwood, California, home.
Moore shared a personal message reflecting on his influence, generosity, and lasting impact on those who worked closely with him. Her words highlight the warmth and integrity that defined him beyond the screen.

In a post on Instagram, Moore shared two images, one of Rob and Michele and the other from the set of ‘A Few Good Men’.
“There are no words to truly express the unfathomable devastation of losing Rob and Michelle Reiner,” she began. “Our kids grew up together, we worked together, and as our lives intertwined personally and professionally I will always cherish the moments and memories of what we shared.”
Moore added, “They were amazing people and wonderful parents who gave of themselves to make the world a better place. My heart, thoughts, and prayers are with their family, friends, and all that are affected by this tragedy.”
Moore collaborated with Rob for the 1992 critically acclaimed film 'A Few Good Men', which also featured Tom Cruise and Kevin Bacon.
Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner were found murdered in Brentwood home
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department were summoned to the Brentwood residence on Sunday, December 14, after the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, discovered them dead.
According to reports cited by PEOPLE, Rob, 78, and his wife Michele, 68, “were found dead by apparent homicide inside their Brentwood, Calif, home on Dec 14.”
The Los Angeles Fire Department previously informed NBC Los Angeles that a “78-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman” were initially found deceased.
Due to the high-profile nature of the case, detectives from the LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division were also at the scene, according to a spokesperson for the LAPD.
The street in front of the home was blocked off, and detectives were seen entering and exiting the residence.
Rob Reiner's legacy
Rob was a celebrated figure in Hollywood and an active voice in political commentary, often supporting liberal causes.
The Oscar-nominated filmmaker's works include generation-spanning classics such as 'Stand By Me,' 'Misery,' 'When Harry Met Sally', 'The American President', and 'This Is Spinal Tap'.
He also earned recognition for his role as Michael “Meathead” Stivic on the iconic television series 'All in the Family'.
