WASHINGTON, DC: At the electric vehicle company Tesla's shareholder meeting on Thursday, June 13, Elon Musk, the CEO, talked about his connection with former President Donald Trump. He confirmed that the two have had discussions and disclosed some of the topics they have discussed, stated the New York Post.

About Trump, Musk said, "He does call me out of the blue for no reason. I don’t know why, but he does." Musk claimed that Trump is "very nice when he calls," and he remembered informing the outgoing president that "America's the leader in electric cars" and that EVs are "pretty good for the future."

Elon Musk and Donald Trump slammed amid news of their 'growing alliance'

Several internet users trolled Elon Musk and Donald Trump after Musk spoke about their 'growing alliance'. A user wrote on X, "Oh great, just what we need—Musk cozying up to Trump. And talking about the Cybertruck as if it's the best thing since sliced bread. The alliance sounds like a disaster waiting to happen."

A person also stated, "As if I didn't need a bigger sign not to buy one" while one added, "A good review of your vehicle from a guy who doesn’t drive and constantly talks out of his a** isn’t the praise you think it is."

A user mentioned, "Who wants to bet Barron received a Cybertruck for his birthday?" whereas one stated, "Only needs to be gold-plated to complete the horrible look."
