CONCORD, NC: A disturbing 911 call audio recording of the NASCAR star Kyle Busch's final hours revealed that he suffered a medical crisis.
The audio obtained by The California Post and published on Friday, May 22, revealed that Busch lay on the bathroom floor coughing up blood a day before he died, as someone around him sought emergency medical assistance for him.
Dispatcher audio captured Kyle Busch's final medical crisis
The 911 audio captured a caller requesting an ambulance to the General Motors Charlotte Technical Center in Concord, NC, around 5.30 pm on Wednesday, after Kyle Busch reportedly suffered a medical emergency.
“I’ve got an individual that’s short of breath, very hot, thinks he’s going to pass out and is producing a little bit of blood — coughing up some blood,” the man told dispatch. “He is awake,” the man later added. “He’s awake. He’s on the bathroom floor right now.”
The man on the call is later heard directing the medical assistance personnel on the quickest way to reach the place where Busch was struggling for life. Busch was ultimately taken to a nearby hospital with what his family called “a severe illness.”
The NASCAR star passed away the next day, on Thursday. The official cause of the death is yet to be revealed.
