Leavitt shared glimpses of the celebration on Instagram Stories on Sunday, August 23, including an elaborate cake shaped like the press secretary's lectern and cookies decorated with the words “No More Questions.” The farewell comes as Leavitt prepares to leave her position at the end of August to spend more time with her husband, Nicholas Riccio, and their two young children. Her departure was announced by President Donald Trump earlier this month.

“@katiemiller knows how to throw a party,” Leavitt wrote while sharing a video of the cake, referring to political strategist Katie Miller. She also praised the baker, writing that the cake was “the coolest cake ever.”
The celebration also included custom cookies that appeared to poke fun at the demands of the White House briefing room. One cookie featured an image of a lectern, while another was decorated with the phrase “No More Questions” in blue icing.
The phrase is a familiar one from White House press briefings, where the press secretary eventually brings questioning to an end after taking questions from reporters. Leavitt also thanked custom cookie maker Leslie Pizarro for the treats.
