WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump Jr and Bettina Anderson are reportedly considering a White House wedding because “this would set them up for future political roles,” a source told PEOPLE.
The couple is now in the middle of planning their ceremony after getting engaged last December.

While most members of the Trump family usually get married at the Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, the White House is reportedly being considered as a potential wedding venue for the 48-year-old Don Jr and 39-year-old Bettina.
A political source told PEOPLE that this decision is being weighed because “This would set them up for future political roles, whether Don Jr goes after the presidency or something else,” and noted that “This is a consideration.”
This would be a rare event, as the last time a child of a president was married at the White House was in 1971.
Insiders share unfinished ballroom wedding hurdle
A source from Palm Beach confirmed that the White House is an option, but mentioned that "The ballroom probably has to be finished."
This is a reference to the fact that President Trump demolished the East Wing in late 2025 to build the ballroom, but a judge stopped the work on March 31.
Since the East Wing has already been torn down, the president needs to get permission from Congress to finish the project.
If the building is finished before his term ends in 2029, it could be a possible place for Don Jr. and Bettina to get married.
Trump is happy with Bettina Anderson’s relationship with his son
President Trump is reportedly very happy about his son’s new relationship after his previous engagement to Kimberly Guilfoyle ended.
A source explained that “The president is happy with the way Bettina looks, and wants his son to be satisfied in his next mate,” and added that “The Trumps were happy with Vanessa, and also with Kim at first until she became a grandstander and attempted to put too much media and MAGA attention on herself.”
Bettina has already started appearing with the family at major events like the State of the Union, and insiders believe she is a great fit.
A Palm Beach source said, "I think they're very well suited for each other. I think she's really a great example for him and a great role model. I mean, she fits in perfectly with that whole group," indicating she has been fully accepted into the family circle.
