Donald Patrick: Mississippi man fatally shoots mother of his 4 children weeks after she gave birth
TUNICA, MISSISSIPPI: The Tunica County Sheriff's Office reports that a mother of four was shot to death inside a Mississippi home while her newborn child was inside. A man has since been charged with Shaterica Queshun Bell's murder.
Donald Demario Patrick, 37, has been charged with first-degree murder, aggravated domestic abuse, two counts of felony in possession of a firearm, and possession of a stolen weapon, according to the sheriff's office.

The sheriff said his bond was set at $425,000. The fatal shooting occurred on Friday, January 5, 2024, at approximately 9.50 pm inside the house on Kirby Road in Robinsonville, Mississippi.
According to the sheriff's office, when the officers arrived on the scene, they heard additional gunfire inside the house and found two children outside. They also discovered that Patrick, Bell, and her infant were the only occupants of the house.
Patrick eventually agreed to drop the gun and come outside after deputies managed to reach him on the phone.
According to the sheriff, Patrick told deputies that he shot Shaterica Queshun Bell, 34, the mother of his children, while their newborn was inside the house.

"Everybody is struck. We don’t know what happened. It’s horrible," a neighbor in the area said to FOX13. “We heard the gunshots. We heard the police knocking at the door.”
"We loved both of them. They were good people. She was so sweet, and he was a man who stood on morals. Everything was good. The four kids, they was the best kids over here," the neighbor, who wished to remain anonymous, said.
Bell was found shot to death and the infant unharmed in the house by deputies.
"We have no idea what's happening," a neighbor said. "She is adored by all. Their child is three weeks old. Everyone was ecstatic to see the baby that they had recently given birth to. It was really quite lovely."
