LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: US president-elect Donald Trump can be heard referring to his youngest son, Barron Trump, as "violent, vicious, and tough" in a resurfaced clip, sending MAGA supporters into a frenzy.

With the caption, "Trump showing baby Barron in 2007," the video initially appeared on TikTok by Daily Mail and received thousands of views on social media.

Donald Trump praises baby Barron Trump as 'vicious' and 'violent' in resurfaced clip
The resurfaced video shows Barron Trump, who was nearly a year old at the time, in his father's arms as he introduces the toddler to the outside world.
Donald Trump, a 60-year-old billionaire at the time, embraced Barron while he accepted the award before calling the 10-month-old a "vicious" and "violent" future entrepreneur.
Trump said to the audience: "See, that's Barron. He's strong, he's smart, he's tough, he's vicious, he's violent - all of the ingredients you need to be an entrepreneur."
"And most importantly, hopefully he's smart, because smart is really the ingredient. So Barron, good luck - you have a long way to go," he added.
By the end of the video, Trump tries to return baby Barron to his mother Melania, but the child resists and firmly grasps the microphone.
Trump then attempted to get off the podium but was briefly stopped because baby Barron would not give up the microphone. The audience laughed when Trump joked, "Uh oh, he won't give up the mic."
Currently a freshman at the Stern School of Business at New York University, Barron, 18, has mostly avoided the spotlight. Although his older siblings assumed public roles, Barron's activities have mostly been private during Trump's presidency.
However, during the 2024 presidential campaign, he made a rare appearance at a Trump rally.
Lara Trump, wife of Eric Trump, claimed that Barron was instrumental in his father's election win.
She said that Barron frequently called Trump to offer suggestions on ways to reach out to more voters.
