GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN: Donald Trump voiced his displeasure at pop icon Beyonce’s support for Vice President Kamala Harris, claiming the singer failed to deliver even a single song during her appearance at a rally in Texas.

The former president, who has had a history of contentious relations with various musicians, mocked Beyonce for not performing and aimed her refusal to allow him to use her song 'Freedom' in his campaigns.

Donald Trump’s criticism of Beyonce

At a rally held in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Donald Trump addressed his supporters with disdain for Beyonce’s recent endorsement of Kamala Harris in Houston.

Referring to her appearance, he said, “They got Beyonce. They said Beyonce’s coming to sing, and she came but didn’t sing."

He added that Harris took the stage as Beyonce was exiting, with neither drawing a favorable reaction from the audience in Texas on October 25.

As he made his remarks, Trump sported an orange and yellow visibility vest, apparently mocking President Joe Biden’s past comments about “garbage.”

“We don’t need Beyonce; we don’t need anybody… all you got is me, and I don’t have a guitar,” Trump quipped.

Beyonce’s message and support for Kamala Harris

Despite Donald Trump’s characterization, reports indicate that Beyonce’s appearance at the rally was well-received, with enthusiastic applause and no negative reception, according to The Daily Beast.

In her address, Beyonce said, “It’s time for America to sing a new song,” and also emphasized that she was not attending as a celebrity but as a mother, encouraging a vision of “no ceilings, no limitations” for young girls.

The former president did not hold back his opinion after Beyonce announced her endorsement in Texas.

Following Beyonce's appearance at Harris' rally, he commented, “They got Beyonce—and you know Beyonce—Beyonce, ugh.”

Donald Trump's longstanding musical tensions

This is not the first time Donald Trump and Beyonce have found themselves on opposing sides.

The former president had previously used Beyonce’s song 'Freedom' in a social media advertisement for his campaign, a move that was met with opposition from Beyonce’s record label.

The video featuring the song was quickly taken down after Beyonce’s team objected, following a history of similar issues with musicians like The Rolling Stones, Adele, and Neil Young.

During the rally, Trump continued to criticize Beyonce’s involvement, referring to her past performances for the Democratic National Convention and her song 'Freedom' being used as a theme for Democratic campaigns.
