WASHINGTON, DC: Former President Donald Trump criticized Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi, accusing her of attempting to portray President Joe Biden as mentally sharp.

Trump made these remarks on Truth Social, stating that Pelosi is spreading disinformation about Biden’s cognitive abilities.

In a usual strong-worded rant, Trump lashed at Pelosi and Biden.

“Crazy Nancy Pelosi is more of a cognitive mess than sleepy crooked Joe. She also suffers from a terminal case of TDS, Trump Derangement Syndrome," Trump wrote.

He went on to call Pelosi “a total nut job” for impeaching him twice and claimed she is spreading disinformation about Biden.

"Now I see her going around, barely, and saying that I am a threat to Democracy. No, this is just Radical Left Democrat Disinformation, which is all that they’re good at," Trump wrote further.



 

He further alleged that Pelosi is trying to convince people that “crooked Joe is a mental giant, and in great form, which everyone knows, he is not."

Nancy Pelosi said it is for Joe Biden to decide if he's going to run for president

Trump's attack came after Pelosi addressed Biden’s potential candidacy during an interview on MSNBC's 'Morning Joe' on Wednesday, July 10.

"It’s up to the president to decide if he is going to run. We’re all encouraging him to make that decision because time is running short," she said, according to NBC News.

When asked about her support for Biden, Pelosi replied, "I want him to do whatever he decides to do, and that’s — that’s the way it is. Whatever he decides, we go with."

In a statement on Wednesday, July 10, Pelosi's spokesman Ian Kragar reiterated, “Speaker Pelosi fully supports whatever President Biden decides to do."

"We must turn our attention to why this race is so important: Donald Trump would be a disaster for our country and our democracy," Kragar added.

Internet strongly reacts to Donald Trump's statement about Nancy Pelosi 

The Internet reacted strongly to Pelosi’s comments and Trump’s accusations.

One user on X wrote, "Pelosi’s hypocrisy knows no bounds. Because she knows Joe's supporters want to hear it. They say he’s done so many wonderful things in his career but can’t name any."

Another comment read, "Debate Nancy!" One more comment read, "Amazes me, former President Trump, how nasty you can be towards other people. It must be extremely gratifying to trash Democrats and they called them. Your ego is pathetic."

Some criticized the entire Democratic Party, with one comment stating, "This whole Democratic Party, at least the ones I have seen and heard these past two weeks, are a disgrace. They are liars and deniers of REALITY. Manipulative and a real threat to Democracy and the prosperity to our country."
