Donald Trump explains his 'angry' demeanor during presidential debate with Kamala Harris

Inflation, economy, and border security are among the top reasons for Donald Trump's rigid stature in the debate against Kamala Harris

WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump has declared himself the winner of the presidential debate against Kamala Harris, and hit back at critics for his “angry and forceful” appearance.

On Thursday, September 12, the former president also blasted the present Vice President for her incompetency, on his Truth Social platform.

“I won the Debate, but was criticized by the Radical Left Lunatics because I looked 'angry and forceful.' But think, why wouldn’t I be angry? I love the U.S.A., and it is being destroyed by grossly incompetent leadership,” said Trump.

Donald Trump called out Kamala Harris for failing to keep a check on the US borders, saying, “Inflation, A Terrible Economy, Horrible Military Decisions, No Respect from around the World, and more than 20 Million people, many from prisons and mental institutions, are pouring into our Country, and creating Havoc, Crime, and Destruction, like never seen before.”

“Am I supposed to be smiling, like Comrade Kamala Harris, with her FAKE one-and-a-half hour smile and long practiced facial expressions, despite all of the problems that she and Crooked Joe have caused," asked Trump.

"No, there’s nothing to smile about, but there will be in the not too distant future, when America makes the biggest Comeback in History. November 5th - MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he concluded, assuring his followers that he’ll soon be back in power.

Earlier, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Karl Rove criticized Trump's performance during the debate at the National Constitution Center, in Philadelphia, reported Mediaite.

Internet reacts to Donald Trump justifying his angry persona during debate with Kamala Harris

Netizens gave mixed reactions to Donald Trump’s hitting back at critics for his staunch composure during the first debate with rival Kamala Harris. A few accused the former president that he can’t “handle pressure.”

One user commented on X, "There were no winners in the debate. The biggest losers were dishonest actors at ABC and the American people."

"A couple of comments easily showed how easily manipulated Trump is. It wasn’t the mediation that sank him, it was his own inability to answer questions and keep his cool," felt another individual.

"'No, there’s nothing to smile about…' unless you’re standing over the graves of fallen American troops for a campaign ad, of course," an individual trolled.

A user suggested, "This is good everyone knows he lost and got to see how insane he is. He can’t handle pressure and we will see him become more unhinged. He will end up saying something he cannot take back or lie his way out of."
