WASHINGTON, DC: Former president Donald Trump revealed the shocking moment his youngest son, Barron Trump, learned about the assassination attempt on him.
The GOP presidential nominee's 18-year-old son was at a tennis lesson when he came to know about his father's narrow escape from death, as per The Daily Beast.
In a recent interview with Fox News' Mark Levin, Trump revealed his family's reaction when shots were fired at him during a Pennsylvania rally on July 13, injuring his ear.
"Barron was outside having a tennis lesson," he recounted, adding his teenage son is a "good tennis player".
Trump said, "And somebody ran up, 'Barron! Barron! Your father's been shot!'"

Donald Trump talks about Barron's reaction upon hearing his father had been shot at
Speaking to Mark Levin, Donald Trump reflected on how Barron responded to the shocking news.
"He was – he loves his father, he's a good kid, good student, good athlete actually – and he ran, 'Mom! What's going on? What's going on?'" Trump said.
While speaking to his supporters at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks fired several shots targeting the real estate mogul, and one bullet pierced his right ear.
Secret Service agents swarmed to cover him immediately as he ducked to the ground. However, a rally attendee was killed and two injured before a Secret Service sniper neutralized the shooter.
Barron graduated from Florida's Oxbridge Academy in May and is expected to start college this fall.
Trump earlier said that his son would attend a college in New York but did not reveal where exactly and teased to make an announcement "soon." Though colleges across the Empire State started freshman orientations, Barron was not spotted on any campus.
Donald Trump recalls wife Melania's response to assassination attempt
During the sit-down with Mark Levin, Donald Trump once again narrated how his wife, Melania Trump, reacted to the shooting.
"She couldn't believe it. She was actually watching it live, can you imagine? And then I get up, and I let people know I was okay," he told Levin.
Trump had previously revealed that his wife was watching the live coverage when the assassination attempt took place.
"When I could talk to people, I said, 'So what was your feeling?' and she said she can't even talk about it, which is okay because that means she likes me," he added.
In the Fox News sit-down, the White House hopeful discussed his upcoming book 'Save America', which will hit stores on September 3.

The book, that apparently gives an "unparalleled look" into his tenure as the 45th president, features a now-famous photograph where the former president pumps his fist after surviving the assassination attempt.
The book also offers a "vision for his next term", if he gets elected in November.
