NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Donald Trump emerged from the courtroom on Wednesday, May 29 morning, seeming to accept that he would probably be found guilty in his hush-money trial after spending the previous few weeks reading positive opinion pieces by his preferred Fox News legal analysts.

"Mother Teresa could not beat these charges!" exclaimed the former president, indicating that he was so certain that the jury would find him guilty of falsifying business records.

Trump criticized trial and judge, claiming that country is mess due to 'fake elections'

The jury started deliberations late Wednesday morning after the prosecution concluded its case on Tuesday, May 28 night, outlining its claims that the former president essentially committed election interference by fabricating documents to cover up an extramarital affair with former adult star Stormy Daniels.

It is still to be seen if Trump is found guilty in the criminal trial, which will be a first for an American president.

The twice-impeached former commander in chief, who is currently the presumed nominee for the Republican Party, did not exude confidence as he left the courtroom while the jury deliberated over his fate.

“I would say in listening to the charges from the judge, who as you know is very conflicted and corrupt because of the confliction, very, very corrupt,” a deflated Trump told reporters outside the courthouse, “Mother Teresa could not beat these charges! These charges are rigged. The whole thing is rigged!”

Trump persisted in criticizing the trial and Judge Juan Merchan, who is overseeing the case, claiming that the "whole country is a mess" as a result of "fake elections."

“Where the judge is so conflicted he can’t breathe. He’s got to do his job. And it is not for me, I can tell you,” he continued. “It is a disgrace. And I mean that—Mother Teresa could not beat these charges. But we’ll see, we’ll see how we do. It is a very disgraceful situation!”

Days before the presidential election, it is highly unlikely that the Nobel Peace Prize winner would have ever been charged with buying silence about an alleged affair with a porn star, according to Daily Beast.

Internet claims 'Mother Teresa wouldn't be charged'

As soon as the news went viral on social media, netizens started sharing their reactions. One wrote, "Pretty sure Mother Theresa wouldn't be charged with trying to cover up paying hush money to a pornstar."

Another user claimed, "Everything is so rigged against trump all he does is lie all day about things being rigged against him and make money from doing so"

The third commentator wrote, "Mother Theresa also wouldn’t falsify business documents."

Other person claimed, "No president in American history has ever hated America more than Donald J. Trump."

"Say what you want about Trump but he always manages to find a way to remind us that he’s an absolute clown," one user stated.
