Kai Trump gives behind-the-scenes details of family's celebration after grandfather's presidential win

PALM BEACH, FLORDIA: President-elect Donald Trump's granddaughter, Kai Trump, gave behind-the-scenes details of election night at Mar-a-Lago and the convention hall where the upcoming president gave his victory speech.

Kai, the 17-year-old granddaughter, posted a YouTube vlog showing a series of moments inside Mar-a-Lago. The video featured her grandfather’s private Florida golf club and residence, including some of the context for a much-discussed family photograph from that night, according to Daily Beast.

The vlog recorded her preparation and eagerness that had been mounting throughout election night and showed the family gathered around several televisions in one of the rooms in the Florida mansion.

Soon, the vlog panned to the family members who posed for a photo. An unidentified person said off camera, “We could do one big family shot.”

Melania Trump was missing from the picture which included all of Donald Trump‘s children, their partners, and some grandchildren like Kai. The former first lady had been a rare sight throughout her husband‘s nearly two-year reelection campaign.

Tesla magnate Elon Musk was also present and was called by Trump to join in for the family photo. The President-elect said, "Elon, you have to have a picture with your boy. You have to get Elon with his boy. Gorgeous, perfect boy."

Trump and the company continued to watch the election results come in on several television screens that were tuned into a different network, per the outlet.

Kai Trump also showed the backstage scene at Palm Beach County Convention Center and announced that she was about to see JD Vance but that part was not included in the vlog.

Towards the end of the video, the teenager revisited the night a couple of days later and gave a recap as she couldn't film the entire event because she was celebrating.

"We didn't really get to film the end because he won and we were just celebrating with family."

"He really has worked his b**t off every single day for the past 8 years for this country," she added.

The 17-year-old daughter of Donald Trump Jr, and former wife Vanessa, called her grandfather "such an incredible and unique person" who "fights every single day for America."

Kai Trump dubs Elon Musk 'uncle' after family golf outing

Kai Trump recently posted a picture on X with Elon Musk on the golf course and captioned it, "Elon achieving uncle status." 

Donald Trump devoted the initial weekend to golfing with his granddaughter and political colleagues after his reelection and revisited his preferred pastime after a period of relentless campaigning across pivotal states, according to Daily Beast.

The moment was captured by his granddaughter Kai, who also took the opportunity to pose for a photograph with Musk and his son, Lil X, on the golf course.

Kai Trump says 'no one works harder' than her grandfather

Kai Trump showed her support towards her grandfather after NBC News projected that the Republican candidate defeated Democratic opponent Kamala Harris to become the 47th president of the United States.

She wrote on X, "No one works harder or cares more about the American people. Congratulations Grandpa, I love you!" along with a photo of herself and Donald Trump.

Donald Trump said during his victory speech, "I want to thank the American people for the extraordinary honor of being elected your 47th president and your 45th president."

He added, "This was a movement like no one has ever seen before. Frankly, I believe this was the greatest political movement of all time. Now it is going to reach a new level of importance,” Trump, the only impeached president to seek re-election, added. “Because we are going to help our country heal."
