Dove Cameron ties the knot with Maneskin frontman Damiano David in Italy

TUSCANY, ITALY: Dove Cameron is now a married woman!

The singer and actress exchanged vows with Maneskin frontman Damiano David at the historic Town Hall in Montalcino, Tuscany, Italy, on Thursday, September 24. They announced their engagement in January.

For her big day, Cameron, 30, ditched a wedding gown and wore a white suit, featuring a white tie and draping cape. Her 27-year-old now-husband wore a matching suit but he also added a silk scarf.

They first sparked romance rumors in 2023 but their relationship was only confirmed months later when they were seen together on a dinner date in Los Angeles in January 2024.

The two went red carpet official at Clive Davis’ annual Pre-Grammy Gala in February of that year. Besides, Cameron softly launched her romance with the Italian singer on Instagram by sharing a photo of David carrying her heels.

Later in June 2024, the ‘Liv and Maddie’ star opened up about her then-boyfriend and their sweet romance.

She told Cosmopolitan, “He’s like a 1950s gentleman, angel, teddy bear. He’s the best person I’ve met in my life,” before adding that David’s “the kindest, most generous, most innocent, most giving person. He’s just a beautiful, sensitive soul.”

Less than two years after the Cosmopolitan interview, the ‘When In Rome’ hitmaker and David got engaged. Showing off her engagement ring, Cameron wrote on Instagram in January, “My favourite part of being alive 💍 happy new year.”

David also posted the engagement photos on his Instagram page, writing, “It’s gonna be a beautiful year💍♥️.”

Later, during an appearance on ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’, Cameron revealed how David chose to propose to her at their home instead of a big public setup.

“He had something in his hand and he said, ‘I know that some girls want rose petals. I know maybe you were expecting something big, but our life is so big, and it’s full of so many public highs that there’s no romance in that for us anymore,’” she recalled.

“'And so I wanted to do this here, in our home, because I want dishes, I want laundry, I want making food together, I want you in your big T-shirt. This is the life that I choose, and I hope you chose the same. Will you marry me?’” Cameron shared.
