'Elegance is dead': Internet supports Megyn Kelly as she slams Kim Kardashian for promoting unhealthy body image at Met Gala
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Megyn Kelly criticized Kim Kardashian's slender waist appearance at the Met Gala, arguing that it sets a negative precedent for young girls.

Kelly slams Kim Kardashian for promoting unhealthy body image
The host, who openly expressed her dislike for the Kardashians on her podcast, disapproved of Kim's fashion choice on a recent episode, saying she "cannot stand" the Kardashians.
Beginning the podcast, she mentioned, "I have gone to this thing a couple of times. When I went to this thing it was A-listers everywhere. It was all of Hollywood's most favored darlings. Now it's like a bunch of social media online influencers and the Kardashians."
Continuing the conversation with Buck Sexton, co-host of 'The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show', she then said, "I swear something's gone wrong and she's always looking for the next level of attention."
"That is not a healthy image to be projecting to American girls!" the host said.
Kelly, 53, further commented Kim "doesn't give a s***" and that she's "riding these pictures and her 'image' all the way to the bank."
Kelly criticized the Met Gala as the "most out of touch event in New York you could ask for," adding that the gala was a "parade of nudity."
"Leave it to the Kardashians to always take it next level," Kelly remarked, adding, "I cannot stand their influence on American culture... I cannot."
Kelly also took aim at Kim for persistently refuting any enhancements to her appearance through cosmetic procedures, saying, "So... Kim Kardashian, who again denies that she's had any work done... it's a lie."
She then described Kim's unbelievably miniscule waist - saying "you could get your hands around it."
"She must have three corsets on," Kelly said, continuing, "Once again she goes out and creates this image - like 'oh it's just me, I just dieted',' I don't believe it."
Adding that it appears as though Kim has undergone a rib removal surgery, Kelly further noted, "She's always looking for the next level of attention."

Kelly found widespread support on social media for her remarks about the Kardashians and the Met Gala.
