WASHINGTON, DC: Tech billionaire Elon Musk reportedly attacked President Donald Trump’s "big, beautiful bill" because he was "butthurt," a new report, which quoted people "in frequent communication" with both men, revealed.

On Tuesday, June 3, Elon Musk took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, "I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it."

Axios reporter Marc Caputo, who spoke to "two people in frequent communication with both," mentioned in the report that Elon Musk attacked Donald Trump’s bill after becoming irritated over four "inflection points," Mediaite reported.

The sources cited Musk's inability to continue serving in his position as a special government employee beyond the imposed time limit as one of the reasons.

The other reasons included the Trump administration's refusal to run air traffic control systems from Musk’s satellite internet company Starlink, Trump’s decision to withdraw his nomination of Musk ally Jared Isaacman to serve as NASA administrator, and the tax credit for electric vehicles being cut from the bill, per the report.

The report also mentioned that the withdrawal of Isaacman's nomination was the "final straw" for the Tesla CEO, as one unnamed White House official called it an "out-the-door 'f*** you'" to the billionaire, allegedly coordinated by Office of Presidential Personnel director Sergio Gor.

However, though Isaacman’s nomination was allegedly withdrawn due to protests from senators over his history of Democratic donations, the White House official informed Axios that they were "pretty sure Elon thought the NASA situation was a last insult."

Moreover, a source told the outlet, "Elon was butthurt."

Elon Musk 'disappointed' with Donald Trump’s bill

Elon Musk was disappointed with Donald Trump's much-ballyhooed sweeping tax bill, which was passed by the House Republicans last month, as per the report.

The multi-billionaire said in an interview excerpt released on May 27, "I was disappointed to see the massive spending bill, frankly, which increases the deficit, not just decreases it, and undermines the work that the DOGE team is doing."

Interestingly, the bill would extend Trump’s 2017 tax cuts, boost defense and border security spending, and implement new requirements for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, among other things, per Politico.

Reflecting on the bill, Musk added, "I think a bill can be big, or it can be beautiful, but I don’t know if it can be both, in my personal opinion."

Several internet users trolled Elon Musk as an Axios report claimed that he attacked President Donald Trump’s "big, beautiful bill" because he was "butthurt."

A user wrote on X, "Trump LITERALLY met with congressional conservatives to demand they pass this bill. You donated to his campaign. You did this" while one added, "It’s kinda funny to see you throw shade at Trump’s spending now, especially since you were one of his biggest supporters and helped him win. You act shocked, but you backed the whole thing before. Can’t be surprised when you helped put the guy in power who’s running up the debt."

A person stated, "You guys couldn't make it work as friends after the break-up, huh?" whereas another asked, "Why are you stirring pots like this? Which side are you on? Pick one. We are confused who to follow."

One individual wrote, "LOLLLLL, Elon is drowning in his own failures," while another commented, "You’re an international flip flopper."
