WASHINGTON, DC: Tech billionaire Elon Musk's son X Æ A-Xii was the star of President Donald Trump's Oval Office press conference on Tuesday, February 11, reported Independent.

The 4-year-old accompanied his father to the White House to witness POTUS sign an executive order requiring federal agencies to cooperate with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

DOGE is chaired by Musk and is meant to reduce wasteful government spending. The department has faced pushback in the last few days for its functioning, as it attempted to shut down the US Agency for International Development.

X's antics in the Oval Office

During the press conference, Musk reportedly fielded the majority of the questions, while X did his best to distract him by pulling faces, clinging onto his dad’s shoulders, and straight up interrupting him.

Neither Musk nor Trump himself seemed to be annoyed by the kid's antics, with Trump describing him as a “high IQ individual.”

Clips of the interview went viral across social media, with one showing X picking his nose and wiping it on the presidential desk. The historic piece of furniture called the Resolute desk was gifted to President Rutherford Hayes by Queen Victoria in 1880 and used by nearly every president since.

X also made his father pause by mimicking him while he was speaking about democracy.

Internet adores seeing X at the Oval Office

Netizens, especially MAGA supporters, were delighted to see Musk's son accompany him at the Oval Office presser. The following tweets demonstrate their takes.

"Trump brings Elon Musk and his son into the Oval Office as he signs an executive order, singlehandedly humanizing children and promoting parenting in front of millions. Normalize this. Kids aren’t burdens—they’re the future," wrote a user.

"I don't give a damn what anyone says—seeing Trump, Elon Musk, and his son X together in the Oval Office makes me grin from ear to ear. These guys might be billionaires, but at heart, they're just like the rest of us," shared another.

"Elon Musk’s son stole the show in the Oval Office today. I love the pro-child message this sends," expressed a third.

"(Elon Musk's) son, X, is in the Oval Office making sure all the EO gets signed. What a little gangsta he is," quipped a fourth.

"It’s so nice to see sweet little children in the Oval Office again. It sends a great message of strong family to America. Elon Musk’s son is adorable," noted a fifth.

"Elon Musk holding his son on his shoulders while answering questions from reporters with President Trump in the Oval Office is the cutest thing you’ll see all day," posted yet another.

Some took the opportunity to troll Musk over bringing a child to a serious press conference, with a user writing, "Even Elon Musk's son is tired of his dad babbling in the Oval Office."
