Epstein's brother says 'I don't care about those files', abruptly hangs up on Piers Morgan's show
LONDON, UK: An interview between Jeffrey Epstein's brother Mark Epstein and Piers Morgan ended abruptly Monday, February 23, after the host asked a direct question about the victims tied to the disgraced financier.
Mark, speaking by phone on 'Piers Morgan Uncensored', made clear that he refuses to discuss the broader allegations connected to his late brother.
Instead, he said he is focused solely on the circumstances surrounding Epstein’s 2019 death in federal custody.
"I no longer answer questions about things in the files, which I really to be honest don't care about."

Mark Epstein says 'I don't care' about Epstein files
Explaining his position, Mark said he avoids commenting on the contents of Epstein files because his words often get distorted.
“I’ve told people I only talk about Jeffrey’s death because I found that when I answer questions about anything else in the files, whatever I say gets misconstrued to fit somebody’s agenda,” he said.
“So I no longer answer questions about the things in the files, which I really, to be honest, don’t care about.”
He emphasized that he was not implicated in any of the documents released by authorities.
“I wasn’t part of any of that. I’m not named in anything,” he said.
“And if anyone’s in the files or something that’s supposed to be getting into trouble for something, I have nothing to do with that. That’s their problem, not mine.”
While acknowledging that new details about his brother’s crimes had surprised him, Mark insisted the wider scandal is not his concern.
“A lot of the stuff that’s come out is surprising to me. I wasn’t aware of a lot of this stuff,” he said.
“And, I’m going to say that even though he is my brother, that was his problem. And now that he’s dead, it’s not his problem anymore. So again, unfortunately, I really don’t care, to be honest with you, I’m just concerned that my brother, whoever and whatever he was, was murdered. That’s my concern.”
He also suggested that accepting the official ruling on Epstein's death would have made his life easier.
“Look, trust me, it would’ve been a lot easier for me if I thought Jeffrey committed self harm. I could have mourned my brother and went on with my life.”
Mark Epstein hangs up on Morgan
The exchange became tense when Morgan asked, “But you care about the victims, I presume?”
Mark replied, “These are the questions I don’t get into. Have a good day.” before hanging up.
Morgan reacted on air, saying, “Extraordinary. Not a difficult question to answer.”
During the interview, Mark said a forthcoming report would challenge the official cause of death.
“It will conclusively show it was not self harm,” he said, before asking, “Then who killed him and who had him killed?”
