WASHINGTON, DC: Erika Kirk shared an emotional video of her 3-year-old daughter singing 'Jesus Loves Me' to her baby brother, mirroring a touching bedtime moment that her late husband, conservative activist Charlie Kirk, used to share with their child.

The short clip, posted on Instagram, shows the Kirk family continuing to find comfort through faith and music after Charlie’s death earlier this year. Erika’s daughter, Sarah Rose, has previously gone viral for tearfully asking about her father and believing they will reunite one day in Heaven.

In it, Sarah Rose stands beside her brother’s cradle, softly singing the classic Christian hymn Jesus Loves Me, “Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong, they are weak, but He is strong. Yes, Jesus loves me. The Bible tells me so.”

After finishing the song, Sarah Rose reached toward her brother, hugged him, and kissed him on the forehead. Within hours, the video received over 520K likes and more than 11K comments, with many followers expressing love and admiration for the Kirk family’s strength.

In her caption, Erika wrote, “I see you alive in our babies; especially at night. I remember walking into her room and hearing both of you singing Jesus Loves Me as she falls asleep. My heart would melt; seeing you in dad mode was my favorite. And now, she sings it for her baby brother as she puts him to bed every night. Her voice now carries both you and her in one. And in this moment, when I witness this every night on the monitor, Heaven feels even closer.”

Erika Kirk comforts daughter with hope of reunion in Heaven

The video follows Erika Kirk’s recent appearance on Jesse Watters Primetime, where she spoke about how her children continue to cope with losing their father. Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, was fatally shot in the neck on September 10, 2025, during a college tour in Utah.

During the interview, Jesse Watters asked if her daughter still asked where her father was. Erika replied, “Yes, my daughter continues to ask, but it’s really sweet because I keep explaining to her a few things. I said, ‘If ever you want to talk to Daddy, you just look up to the sky and start talking to him. He can hear you.’ And I told her, ‘You know, Daddy is in Heaven.’ She goes, ‘You think I could go sometime?’ I said, ‘Baby, we will all go one day. We will all go one day.’”

The heartfelt post and interview have deeply moved Charlie’s followers, who continue to celebrate the family’s faith, love, and resilience in his memory.
