NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Looks like George Santos is packing his bags once again.

The scandal-plagued ex-congressman says he’s ready to ditch the Big Apple if Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani takes over City Hall, warning that it would turn New York City into a “very dangerous place.”

Santos's concerns for the future of New York City

In a lengthy post on X (formerly Twitter) Tuesday, the 37-year-old ex-Long Island lawmaker declared he’s skipping town if voters hand the mayor’s office to the Domocrat Socialist.

“Sadly it seems that my family and I will be departing the city I’ve called home my entire life. NYC will become a very dangerous place to live in if we elect mayor Mamdani and that is a risk I am unwilling to take now that I want to start growing my family,” Santos wrote.

The Democratic Socialist nominee has been leading by double digits in the latest Gotham Polling/AARP survey. He is well ahead of independent candidate and former Governor Andrew Cuomo, as well as Republican Curtis Sliwa.

Instead of picking sides, Santos stopped short of endorsing anyone but urged Sliwa to step aside and back Cuomo “for the greater good,” just two weeks before New Yorkers hit the polls.

George Santos wants a 'coalition' to stop Zohran Mamdani

“I pray that God will illuminate the mind of Republican Curtis Sliwa and give him the strength, courage, and humility to step aside and work with Cuomo to save NYC from Marxism/sharia disaster,” Santos said in another post hours later.

“Andrew Cuomo, extend an offer of partnership to Curtis and form a coalition to save NYC,” he pleaded. “It’s time to put our personal needs aside and unite to the greater good of the largest city in the country.”

But Santos, who just got his 87-month prison sentence commuted by Donald Trump, admitted he might’ve missed a few memos during his time behind bars.

“Clearly I’ve been out of the picture and I am very aware that Cuomo is a horrible human being… my point above is based on the polling I’m reading,” he wrote. “Please don’t shoot me down and educate me instead on what I have missed.”

“Love you all and let’s have a solid and good conversation on this, the one thing I think we all agree is Mamdani is BAD for NYC,” he added.

Curtis Sliwa isn’t budging

Santos’ dream of a Cuomo–Sliwa alliance might already be dead in the water. The Guardian Angels founder declared on Tuesday that there’s “no chance” he’s bowing out.

“Let’s be very clear: I am not dropping out, under no circumstances,” Sliwa declared during a presser on the Upper West Side. He even revealed he’d been offered big bucks to quit the race. “I’ve already been offered money to drop out, I said ‘no,’” he said.

Sliwa, who’s claimed he’s rejected as much as $10 million in bribes to abandon his mayoral run, also took aim at the city’s wealthy elite. “Nobody wants to talk to me, because I am wired up like a Christmas tree,” he told reporters.

Fresh out of prison

Santos’s resurgence comes on the heels of his prison break. Just days earlier, President Trump commuted his sentence for wire fraud and aggravated identity theft, saying the flamboyant ex-rep was treated unfairly behind bars.

“George Santos was somewhat of a ‘rogue,’ but there are many rogues throughout our Country that aren’t forced to serve seven years in prison,” Trump said on Truth Social, calling out what he described as “horrible” treatment by the Bureau of Prisons.

Santos served just 84 days of his more than seven-year term at FCI Fairton in New Jersey and was quietly released around 11 pm before being whisked away in an unmarked SUV.

Hours later, he thanked Trump for granting him “a second chance at life.”

The ex-congressman appears to be cashing in on his infamy. Santos has jumped onto Cameo, selling customized video messages to fans.

According to the New York Post, his first gig was a birthday shoutout for former Trump White House staffer Megan Small. “George Santos, fresh out of prison break,” he said in the clip, chuckling before finishing his message.

That said, Santos has not revealed where he will be moving should Mamdani claim victory on November 4.
