LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tom Brady has praised his oldest son, John "Jack" Edward Thomas Moynahan.

The retired NFL star appeared on 'DeepCut' with VicBlends on Thursday, April 11, where he opened up about the 16-year-old.

The former football quarterback shares Jack with ex-partner Bridget Moynahan, 52, and is also father to son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11, whom he shares with ex-wife Gisele Bundchen, 43.

Tom Brady said Jack 'handles himself so well in groups of people'

"I mean my oldest son, Jack, he’s an amazing young man. Straight As. Handles himself so well in groups of people and I see him and he’s 16, and I’m like how are you so mature," the 46-year-old said according to People Magazine. "[He] lives in New York City, puts his heart and soul into everything he does. I mean he just, he blows me away with who he is."

Tom Brady on his journey to fatherhood

Brady got candid about when he first became a parent in the same interview, saying that he felt his journey to fatherhood improved with time.

"You get better as a parent, I think, because you know when you’re a young parent, you don’t really know what you’re doing. You’re winging it. You’re trying to wing it," Brady said, per the outlet.

"So I think when you become a parent, you’re trying new things for the first time, you’re going through all these things for the first time so you don’t exactly know always the right thing to say. As you go, you get a little bit better at it, you get a little more understanding of it and you try to just continue to kind of refresh your skills as a parent," Brady narrated.

"'Am I listening or am I talking? Am I mentoring, or am I disciplining? Am I holding them accountable or am I letting them get away with things?'” added the father of three.

Tom Brady's ex-wife Gisele Bundchen previously disclosed her relationship with Jack

Bundchen opened up about her relationship with Jack in a sit-down interview with Robin Roberts in March 2024.

"I got to experience how it is to feel, to be a mom before I was even a mom. To be a bonus mom," she shared. "So I got to experience how my heart could feel that love and just expand in ways I never thought were possible."

Later in her conversation with Roberts, the cookbook author remembered meeting her stepson when he was very little. "But I mean, I met him when he was 3 months old, you know? I raised him like. I love him," Bundchen added.
