SANTA CLARA, CALIFORNIA: Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny headlined Super Bowl LX halftime show on Sunday, February 8, marking a historic moment as the first Latino solo artist — and the first primarily Spanish-language performer — to headline the event.

During his performance, Bunny was seen handing his Grammy Award to a young boy, prompting online speculation that the child represented five-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos, who was detained by ICE last month.

Claim: Bad Bunny gave his Grammy to 5-year-old Liam Ramos

During the Super Bowl LX halftime show on Sunday, cameras cut to a family seated in front of a television watching a clip of Bad Bunny’s Grammy Awards speech from last week. The Grammy-winning artist then approached the group and handed his award to the smiling young boy.

The moment quickly went viral on social media, as fans connected the scene to Liam Ramos, who was taken into ICE custody on January 20, 2026, while walking home from school in Columbia Heights, Minnesota, alongside his father.

An X user wrote, "BREAKING: In an incredible moment, Bad Bunny just gave his Grammy to 5-year-old Liam Ramos, who was kidnapped by ICE. We’re sobbing."

Similarly, another X account posted, "Many of you may have missed this, but the little boy who Bad Bunny handed his Grammy to at the Super Bowl was Liam Ramos!"

"Little Liam Ramos, the 5-year-old taken by ICE, was given Bad Bunny’s Grammy at the Super Bowl halftime show. I cried like a b***h," another X user posted.

Fact check: False, the boy was child actor, Lincoln Fox

The claim made in the online post is false, as multiple reports confirmed that the 5-year-old boy was a child actor named Lincoln Fox.

Moreover, journalist Philip Lewis also clarified the online rumor, and said in a post that the child was a performer and not connected to the ICE case.

Furthermore, Fox also later shared photos from the appearance on his Instagram, and wrote that he would 'remember this day forever', and included hashtags like #youngbadbunny and #littlebadbunny. He also suggested he portrayed a younger version of the artist rather than an allegory for Liam Ramos.

Playing to a packed Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Bad Bunny powered through a 13-minute medley of 14 songs, including 'Tití Me Preguntó', 'Yo Perreo Sola', and 'El Apagón'.
