FORT DIX, NEW JERSEY: Sean 'Diddy' Combs faced a high-profile federal indictment in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York in 2024, following allegations of running a criminal enterprise involving s** trafficking and related offenses.

In late-February 2024, a rumor circulated online claiming that Diddy reportedly agreed to appear on a special episode of 'Hot Ones' via Zoom from FCI Fort Dix. But is there any truth to this? Let us find out below.

Claim: Diddy agreed to virtually appear on a special episode of 'Hot Ones' from prison

On Sunday, February 23, an X post claimed, "Diddy has reportedly agreed to appear on a special episode of ‘Hot Ones’ via Zoom from FCI Fort Dix."

The viral post garnered more than 15,000 views on X at the time of filing this story. The post also featured images of Sean Diddy Combs and YouTuber Sean Evans.

Diddy is currently serving his sentence in a federal prison, and is participating in a dr**-abuse rehabilitation program that could reduce time served. He has appealed the conviction and sentence.

However, prosecutors opposed the appeal in late February 2026 filings, seeking to uphold it. Oral arguments are scheduled for April 2026, with a potential release date around May 2028.

Meanwhile, no new indictments or major developments have emerged since sentencing.

Fact Check: False, post originated as satire

The claims made in the online posts are false, as the post is satirical content, which originated from a self-described parody account named Hoops Crave. There are no credible reports or announcements that confirm any such episode.

Though Diddy is serving his sentence at FCI Fort Dix, a low-security federal prison in New Jersey, no official sources from 'Hot Ones', 'First We Feast', or other news outlets mention Diddy appearing on the show from prison.

Moreover, the most recent 'Hot Ones' episodes feature guests like Daniel Radcliffe, Madison Beer, and Mr. Beast, with no special episode involving Diddy.

Interestingly, resurfaced clips from past 'Hot Ones' episodes have circulated amid Diddy's legal issues, but these are from 2019 and unrelated to any new appearance.

Parody accounts such as Hoops Crave often post exaggerated or fake news for humor, especially blending pop culture with current events like Diddy's incarceration.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs' case drew massive attention due to civil lawsuits, raids on Combs' homes, and parallels to other high-profile scandals. The disgraced rapper has consistently denied the allegations of non-consensual acts or trafficking.
