PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Amber Rose endorsed Donald Trump earlier this year for the 2024 presidential race. The rapper and model also spoke at the Republican National Convention (RNC) in June and said that she believes the "media lied" about the former president.

Now, as Trump is all set for his second term as the president of the US, a viral post claims that he has nominated Rose for Secretary of Education. Is the any truth to this? Let's find out below.

Claim: Donald Trump nominated Amber Rose for Secretary of Education

An X (formerly Twitter) user @keithedwards shared an alleged statement from President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday, November 13, that read, "I am honored to announce that I have nominated Amber Rose to serve in my Cabinet as the Secretary of Education. Amber has spent her entire life advocating for the empowerment of individuals through self-confidence, education, and resilience."

The statement continued, "Amber has fought tirelessly to give a voice to the voiceless, and as Secretary of Education, she will lead with courage, compassion, and a commitment to the future of America’s students."

It also described Rose as a "true believer in American values" who would put students "first" and "reform" the education system.

False: The viral social media post was satire

The claims made in the social media post are completely false as X has flagged it as a satire, claiming, "Donald Trump didn’t announce this, this is a satire post."

Moreover, no such official announcement has been made by the President-elect or his office since he won the 2024 presidential election.

Amber Rose endorsed Donald Trump for the 2024 presidential election

Amber Rose said while endorsing Donald Trump during the RNC, "I’m here tonight to tell you, no matter your political background, that the best chance we have to give our babies a better life is to elect Donald Trump president of the United States."

She added that she is not a politician but she does care about the truth and claimed that the truth was that the "media lied about Trump" and said that she believed those lies for a long time and remained critical of Trump.

She further explained that she realized after some point in time that Trump’s supporters didn’t care if you were Black, White, gay, or straight, per the outlet.

While praising Trump and his support base of Republicans, Rose said, “And that’s when it hit me: These are my people. This is where I belong.”

Interestingly, during the 2016 election, the model called Trump an "idiot" and hoped that he wouldn’t become the president, as per Axios.
