WASHINGTON, DC: Hours before President Donald Trump's State of the Union address began on Tuesday, February 24, the internet erupted after an anonymous social media post claimed to obtain a 'leaked draft' of POTUS' SOTU address.

The X post shared an image of the purported 'leaked' draft, claiming that President Trump had planned to create a new system to rate people for their 'loyalty'. But is there any truth to this? Let us find out below.

Claim: Leaked SOTU address shows Trump planned to rate people for their 'loyalty'

X account @roguesnradvisor shared a post that read, "BREAKING: Leaked State of the Union address references 'TrumpScan' - a system that creates a social media score based on loyalty to Trump and gives a 'Patriot Badge' to those who comply."

The X post also contained a scanned copy of what seemed to be Donald Trump's upcoming address. The viral post garnered more than 330,000 views on X, and more than 2,000 users reacted to the post.

The post was further shared by several other X accounts, some believing it to be true.

President Trump is expected to focus in part on the economy and affordability, as well as immigration, during the State of the Union speech.

Fact Check: False, the post originated from a parody account

The claims made in the online post are false, as the viral post is a satirical fiction that originated from a parody account. No 'TrumpScan' social media loyalty scoring, or 'Patriot Badge' appears in any State of the Union draft or policy.

The X account's bio and earlier posts indicate that the post is satirical and not a legitimate White House insider. The X account has teased 'The Rogue Files' drops as explosive reveals, but these are consistently debunked as hoaxes.

Moreover, no credible news outlets or official sources reported any State of the Union reference to 'TrumpScan', 'Patriot Badge', or any similar systems.

The actual SOTU focuses on themes like border security, economic policies, foreign affairs, and domestic achievements, with no mention of social media scoring or loyalty badges.

Furthermore, the document's formatting does not match official White House memos or speech drafts, which are typically more structured and lack such satirical elements.
