Fact Check: Did Pam Bondi start an OnlyFans private social media account?
WASHINGTON, DC: Following the removal of Pam Bondi as Attorney General, a rumor has been circulating on social media platforms, claiming that Bondi has launched a private social media account accessible only to fans, sparking criticisms and speculations. Let us analyze the origins of the rumor and fact-check the claim’s authenticity.
Claim: Pam Bondi started a fan-only private account
The claim surfaced in the form of a screenshot showing an account with the picture of Bondi, having a bluetick in what appears to be on X (formerly Twitter).
The account has a description stating, “Subscribe to see all my private content,” and was accompanied by a button on the top left corner, written, “OnlyFans.”
The purported screenshot has been widely shared by various accounts, garnering hundreds of thousands of views and thousands of likes.
Those commenting under the post are even mocking and criticizing the former Attorney General, indicating that they believe the claim to be true.
Fact Check: Fake, the screenshot is AI-generated
The screenshot, however, is fabricated and was made using Artificial Intelligence. A search on prominent social media platforms such as Facebook and X for the private account yielded no results.
A search on Google also did not give any credible results supporting the claim. An analysis using Hive Moderation, an AI detection tool, revealed that the image is 99.9 percent likely to have been generated using AI. An analysis using ZeroGPT also gave the same result.
A fact-check by Grok stated, “The viral meme showing Pam Bondi with an OnlyFans-style profile titled '$9.99 per testimony' is satirical Photoshop."
"No evidence she has or had an OnlyFans account. Bondi (former AG) faced criticism & a House subpoena over her DOJ's handling/release of Epstein files, but she won't testify as scheduled on April 14 since she's no longer in office."
Pam Bondi's removal as Attorney General
The claim surfaced following Bondi’s removal, which came after months of reported friction within the administration.
Her tenure had already been under scrutiny over how certain high-profile records were handled, such as the release of the Epstein files, adding to the pressure surrounding her role.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche has since stepped in as acting attorney general while President Donald Trump considers a permanent replacement.
Bondi’s departure also marks the second cabinet-level exit in recent weeks, following the earlier dismissal of Kristi Noem as Secretary of Homeland Security.
