The image, however, is fake, as social media users have pointed out. A reverse search for the image showed no credible news or entertainment media reporting about the photo.

A search on Swift’s social media accounts revealed that the popular singer posted no such image wearing a hoodie criticising the White House or Epstein files.

Ever since her wedding to NFL star Travis Kelce, Swift hasn’t posted any politically charged posts on social media.

An analysis using AI detection platforms such as Hive Moderation and Zero GPT revealed that the image is highly likely to be generated using Artificial Intelligence.

Additionally, the image contains elements that are common in AI-generated images, such as overly smooth, waxy, or airbrushed skin lacking natural pores, fine lines, or subtle imperfections.

The image surfaced after Swift took a new legal step to safeguard her identity in the age of artificial intelligence, filing trademark applications on April 24, aimed at protecting both her voice and likeness.

The move comes amid rising concerns over AI-generated impersonations and deepfake content involving public figures, to which her team seeks stronger control over how her personal identity is used in digital and commercial contexts.

The filings include two audio clips of Swift introducing herself while promoting her album ‘The Life of a Showgirl,’ featuring an image from her Eras Tour performance.

One application seeks trademark protection for the phrase "Hey, it's Taylor," which could help Swift take action against AI-generated clips or unauthorized use of her voice online.
