LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A viral claim circulating on social media alleged that Zendaya and Tom Holland have signed a “5-year $500 million commitment contract” to remain together.

While the couple’s relationship is real and well documented, the rumor of a financial agreement governing their romance has sparked widespread online chatter. Let’s fact check the claim.

Claim: Zendaya and Tom Holland signed a 5-year ‘commitment contract’

A post shared by X user Hoops Crave circulated online claiming that high-profile couple Zendaya and Tom Holland have signed a “5-year commitment contract” worth $500 million to remain together. The post stated, “Zendaya and Tom Holland have reportedly signed a 5-year ‘commitment contract’ worth $500M to remain together.”

At the time of writing, the post had garnered more than 43,000 views along with numerous comments. Social media users reacted with humor, drawing NBA-style contract comparisons, Spider-Man-inspired jokes such as “no commitment home,” and remarks suggesting the claim resembled a corporate merger more than a romantic relationship.

Zendaya and Tom Holland met in 2016 while filming 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' and gradually evolved from close friends into one of Hollywood’s most private couples.

After years of speculation and reported relationships with other people, paparazzi photographed them kissing in 2021, and they later made their relationship Instagram official. Since then, they have consistently supported each other’s careers while maintaining a low-profile approach to their personal lives.

Fact Check: No evidence supports Zendaya and Tom Holland contract rumor

The claim that Zendaya and Tom Holland signed a 5-year “commitment contract” worth $500 million, complete with highly specific clauses to remain together, remains unverified and appears to have originated from viral social media content.

The story has spread widely across platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, often accompanied by emotional but unsubstantiated details.

However, there is no public or credible evidence supporting the existence of a legally binding five-year contract between the two stars regarding their relationship.

Some online speculation has also linked the couple to marriage rumors, including comments from stylist Law Roach suggesting they may have “secretly married” in March 2026. Still, none of the financial or contractual claims surrounding the alleged agreement have been confirmed.

Both Zendaya and Tom Holland have consistently maintained a high level of privacy regarding their personal lives and have not publicly verified any engagement, marriage, or financial arrangement of this nature.

The rumor appears to have stemmed from intense public fascination with their relationship rather than from any factual or officially acknowledged agreement.
