WASHINGTON, DC: A photo claiming to show Donald Trump, Jeffrey Epstein, and Pam Bondi has sparked a viral rumor across social media in 2025.

As debates about Trump’s ties to the late convicted sex offender intensified, many questioned the authenticity of the image. Let’s uncover the truth behind the picture of the trio making headlines.

Claim: Photo shows Trump with Pam Bondi and Epstein

In mid-July 2025, social media users circulated a photo claiming to show President Donald Trump with Attorney General Pam Bondi and the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

An X user named @eastendjoe shared the viral image with the caption, "Well, well, well." The photo gained traction on platforms like Instagram, Threads, YouTube, and X shortly after the Justice Department, led by Bondi, released a memo denying the existence of documents related to Epstein, including a rumored list of high-profile clients he could blackmail.

In the days that followed, both the public and Democratic legislators demanded the release of the so-called "Epstein files," while Trump publicly sought to distance himself from the controversy.

Fact Check: Pam Bondi is not in the pictuire

The image circulating on social media is authentic, not digitally altered or AI-generated, but it was miscaptioned.

The woman pictured is Belgian model Ingrid Seynhaeve, not Attorney General Pam Bondi. The original photo, found on Getty Images, shows President Donald Trump, Ingrid Seynhaeve, and Jeffrey Epstein attending the Victoria’s Secret "Angels" party on April 28, 1997, in New York City.

Getty Images uploaded the photo from their archive on May 20, 2024, which explains why the caption refers to Trump as an "ex-president." The caption read, "American businessman and ex-president Donald Trump, Belgian model Ingrid Seynhaeve, and American businessman Jeffrey Epstein attend the Victoria's Secret "Angels" party on April 28, 1997 in New York City."

Epstein, who died in his jail cell in 2019 about a month after being arrested on sex-trafficking charges, has become the center of numerous conspiracy theories.

Although officials ruled his death a suicide, many believe he was murdered to prevent him from exposing prominent individuals involved in his criminal activities.

Trump and Epstein were not close friends, says Ghislaine Maxwell

Ghislaine Maxwell, the jailed associate of Jeffrey Epstein, told US officials that she never witnessed any inappropriate behavior by Donald Trump.

The Trump administration has faced pressure to release information about Epstein, with whom the president was reportedly friendly. During a prison interview in July, Maxwell told Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche that the much-discussed "client list" does not exist.

In a recently released, heavily redacted 300-page transcript, Maxwell said she believed Trump and Epstein were friendly “in social settings” but were not close friends.

She stated, “I actually never saw the president in any type of massage setting,” referencing massage services some Epstein victims have mentioned. Maxwell added, “The president was never inappropriate with anybody,” and described him as “a gentleman in all respects” during the times she was around him.
