WASHINGTON, DC: A bizarre rumor circulating on X claims that Natalie Harp, President Donald Trump's executive assistant, serves as his "official diaper nurse."

The rumor gained traction amid renewed online discussions about Trump's health and public appearances, with social media users making unsupported claims about his personal care.

Users amplified the claim after analyzing footage of Harp accompanying Trump at recent events and speculating about the contents of the bag she frequently carries.

Social media users claimed that Trump's executive assistant, Natalie Harp, carried diapers for him during a ceremony at Dover Air Force Base.

A photograph of Harp at the event sparked online speculation, with several users claiming that the tote bag she carried was a "diaper bag" for the president.

The image circulated after Harp attended a dignified transfer ceremony on July 22, where Trump joined officials and military personnel to honor four US service members killed in an Iran-related incident.

The photograph showed Harp standing near military personnel carrying the "nuclear football" while holding her usual tote bag and a small pouch attached to it. The contents of the bag were not visible, but the image quickly fueled speculation online.

Several X users claimed without evidence that Harp's bag contained diapers for the 80-year-old president.

Gracelynn shared the image and wrote, "Donald Trump's aide aka nurse carrying around a diaper bag full of Depends. They're not even trying to hide it anymore."

Another widely shared post claimed, "This is Donald Trump's assistant, Natalie Harp. Carrying diapers for him in her bag."

Other users repeated the claim, calling Harp Trump's "diaper nurse" and questioning why the alleged "diaper bag" appeared near the nuclear football.

One post stated, "Wow. She really is Trump's diaper nurse. But why is her diaper bag tethered to the nuclear football?" The speculation appeared to stem from Harp's frequent presence at Trump's public events and her role as his executive assistant.

Fact Check: False, claim not supported by evidence

The available evidence does not support the claim that Natalie Harp serves as Trump's "official diaper nurse" or carries diapers for him.

Social media users mocked Harp's tote bag as a "diaper bag," but they provided no evidence to support the allegation. No medical records, official statements, eyewitness accounts, or credible reports confirm that Harp performs any personal care duties for Trump.

The viral posts also do not show the contents of Harp's bag, making the speculation about what it contained unverified. At the time of publication, neither the White House nor Harp had publicly responded to the latest claims.
