White House aide Natalie Harp left heartfelt notes for Trump in 'private spaces', claims new book
WASHINGTON, DC: A new book about President Donald Trump's second administration is shedding light on the unusually close bond between the president and one of his most devoted aides, Natalie Harp.
Released this week, Regime Change: Inside the Imperial Presidency of Donald Trump claims Harp regularly left affectionate notes for Trump in private spaces and became one of the most trusted figures in his inner circle.
Natalie Harp's devotion reportedly caught attention inside Trump's orbit
The book paints a picture of Harp as one of the president's most enthusiastic supporters.
A former television presenter, she reportedly remained close to Trump even after he left the White House following the 2020 election and relocated to Florida.
Haberman and Swan write that Harp regularly supplied Trump with favorable news articles and positive social media comments while accompanying him on golf outings.
The authors also claim she sometimes wrote personal notes and left them in areas where Trump would find them.
One note allegedly read, "You are all that matters to me."
According to the book, the dynamic was striking enough to leave some White House officials surprised.
Trump's chief of staff, Susie Wiles, reportedly reacted internally by thinking, "Where am I?" after witnessing the relationship described in the book.
Donald Trump reportedly praised Natalie Harp's loyalty to staff
The authors claim Harp's influence continued after Trump returned to the White House.
She reportedly encouraged the president as he carried out various changes to the Oval Office, including the addition of more gold decorative elements that reflected his personal taste.
"As the year progressed, he kept jamming more gold pieces onto the mantel," Haberman and Swan write.
While other White House staffers reportedly offered restrained reactions when Trump asked what they thought of the changes, Harp allegedly responded with enthusiastic praise.
The book also claims Trump openly acknowledged Harp's loyalty in conversations with staff members.
According to Haberman and Swan, the president once remarked that Harp loved him as much as members of his own family did.
After returning to office, Trump allegedly told aides she "was the only one who loved him as much as his wife and kids."
Book details Natalie Harp's role in Donald Trump's online presence
The authors also highlight Harp's involvement in Trump's social media activity.
The book says she played a significant role in helping prepare material for the president's Truth Social posts, though final approval always came from Trump himself.
Her behind-the-scenes role has earned her the nickname "the human printer," according to the authors, because she frequently prints articles and online content for the president.
The book further alleges that Harp encouraged some of Trump's most attention-grabbing social media posts this year.
While some of those posts later drew criticism and were removed, the authors say Harp remained one of the president's most trusted aides.
The loyalty appears to be mutual. According to Regime Change, Trump once told subordinates that while others would eventually move on to different opportunities, Harp would remain by his side.
"All of you will go off and make money," Trump reportedly told staffers. "She'll never leave me."
