'Fake news': Josh Hart denies Knicks stars were invited to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Josh Hart has called a viral report "fake news" after claims surfaced that he and several New York Knicks stars had been invited to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's apparent wedding.
Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, both 36, are expected to tie the knot on Friday, July 3, though the couple has not publicly confirmed the reported wedding plans.
Josh Hart calls wedding invitation report 'fake news'
Amid the speculation, Spurs player Jeremy Sochan reshared an X post that read, "Jalen Brunson and the Knicks' starting lineup have reportedly been invited to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding at Madison Square Garden on Friday, per @PageSix."
He also tagged Hart and asked on Thursday, July 2, "What about me? 😞 @joshhart can I be your plus 1?”

Later that day, the 31-year-old shooting guard responded, "lol bro this fake news," appearing to dismiss the report that he, Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, Mikal Bridges, and OG Anunoby had all received invitations to the reported wedding.
The speculation comes weeks after Swift attended Game 4 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden on June 10. She cheered on the Knicks alongside her friends Este and Alana Haim, as well as Mariska Hargitay.
Reports claim Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce held a rehearsal dinner
Several high-profile names were reportedly in attendance, including Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, Jack Antonoff, Charissa Thompson, Abigail Anderson, Erin Andrews, and others. Antonoff, Swift's longtime collaborator, reportedly attended the event with his sister, Rachel.
Gomez was reportedly seen wearing a black dress at the dinner, though she attended without her husband, Benny Blanco.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding venue remains under wraps
While Madison Square Garden has been linked to the celebrations, reports suggest the wedding ceremony itself will take place at a different, undisclosed location.

Anthony Jabin, a celebrity memorabilia collector who has reportedly received an invitation to the event, told TMZ, "I am going... I got an invitation. Well, I'm not allowed to disclose it, but it's not what everybody thinks. It's a little bit of a surprise going on. They don't want people to really know where it is."
According to Jabin, the ceremony and reception are expected to be held on July 3 but at separate venues, with organizers keeping the exact locations private.
