PHOENIX, ARIZONA: Airplane incidents recently have sparked a flurry of activity on social media. One incident that garnered attention involved a plane making a U-turn due to a passenger excessively farting on board, leading to a wave of humorous reactions from social media users.

Another incident causing a stir on social media featured a clip of an Atlas Air Boeing 747 with an engine on fire, flying over Miami before executing an emergency landing.

Before that, a Boeing incident stirred controversy when a window of the aircraft blew out mid-air. The noteworthy aspect of this incident was the discovery that an iPhone, which fell from the aircraft at 16,000 feet, was found still functioning after the fall.

These events have kept social media buzzing with discussions and reactions.

American Airlines plane turned around because of passenger farting

As per information from the Daily Mail, a passenger on a recent American Airlines flight from Phoenix to Austin was reportedly removed for excessive farting. The incident took place on an early evening flight from Phoenix to Austin, causing a delay of 15 to 30 minutes as the flight returned to the gate.

A Texas-based traveler shared the details on Reddit, describing the January 14 incident as "kinda funny" and "somewhat entertaining." The witness, who did not capture the incident on video, mentioned that the disgruntled passenger appeared audibly upset, possibly hungover, upon boarding the flight.

The Daily Mail reports that the passenger grumbled about something and used explicit language while sitting. Later, during the flight, the individual made a provocative statement about a foul smell, followed by a "loud and condescending" remark, suggesting everyone eat the smelliest food simultaneously.

The Reddit post author noted that female passengers seated next to the disruptive individual appeared unfazed, exchanging smiles and shaking their heads. Another male passenger nearby suggested the disgruntled individual fly privately if he didn't like it, while someone accused him of being rude.

As per the Reddit post author, as reported by Daily Mail, despite warnings from flight attendants, the disruption continued. While taxiing towards the runway, the crew announced an apology for the interruption and informed passengers that the flight would be returning to the gate for further information.

Upon returning to the gate, a flight attendant approached the disruptive passenger, informing him that he could not continue the flight. The individual expressed confusion, and the flight attendant stated they would discuss the matter off the plane. The passenger complied, quietly exited the plane with their bag, and the incident was resolved.
