The victims, sadly pronounced dead at the scene, included a man in his late 40s and two women—one in her late 40s and another aged around 80. Tragically, the investigation revealed that all three had succumbed to gunshot wounds.

Additionally, officers found a man in his late 80s in a different area of the home, who had taken his own life through an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Authorities believe this elderly man was responsible for the fatal shootings of the other three victims, as per Fox.

Heroic shooting survivor barricaded self and called the police

During a press briefing, Los Angeles Police Capt. Kelly Muniz shared that a witness inside the home had managed to escape harm. "The witness was inside and fortunately was not harmed during the incident and was able to barricade themselves and call the police," Los Angeles Police Capt. Kelly Muniz said.

As the community grapples with the shock and sorrow of this devastating incident, authorities have not yet released the identities of the deceased or any potential motives behind the gunman's actions.

The investigation is ongoing, as the police work to piece together the events that led to this heart-wrenching murder-suicide.
