Fox host Trace Gallagher mocks Harris' 2028 comeback buzz: 'Every Republican dropped to their knees'
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News anchor Trace Gallagher used a prime-time segment to mock former Vice President Kamala Harris after she hinted at a possible 2028 presidential run on Friday, April 10.
The remarks, joined by a panelist’s sharp criticism, framed Harris’ potential comeback as politically advantageous for Republicans rather than a serious electoral threat.

Trace Gallagher trolls Kamala Harris
Gallagher’s criticism came during a panel discussion where he reacted to Harris’ comments with a sarcastic punchline.
“Every Republican just dropped to their knees and prayed and said, 'Can you take Tim Walz with you and run again?'” he said.
Fox panelist Amber Duke echoed the sentiment, arguing that Harris re-entering the race would only benefit the GOP.
“That’s right. Republicans are salivating over this, especially after her weird mob boss impression of Donald Trump,” Duke said. “It might have been the worst impression of Trump I’ve ever heard, which is a pretty high bar, actually.”

She went further, adding, “I think the GOP is so excited to hear that she’s considering this because the longer that she stays in politics, the more she puts her foot in her mouth and continues to show that she is not presidential material.”
Kamala Harris weighs in on 2028 comeback
Harris’ remarks came during an appearance at the National Action Network convention in New York, where she openly acknowledged she is considering another presidential bid.
“Listen, I might. I’m thinking about it,” she said, drawing applause from the audience. She reiterated moments later, “I’m thinking about it. I’ll keep you posted.”
Highlighting her experience, Harris added, “I served for four years being a heartbeat away from the presidency of the United States, I know what the job is. And I know what it requires.”
She also pointed to her recent travels across the country, saying, “The one thing I’m really clear about also is, the status quo is not working, and hasn’t been working for a lot of people for a long time.”
Kamala Harris entered the 2024 race after Joe Biden stepped aside, calling it in the party’s best interest following debate concerns.
She went on to lose to Donald Trump in the general election, her second failed presidential bid after 2020.
In the aftermath, Harris largely stayed out of the spotlight and passed on a California gubernatorial run, fueling speculation she was keeping the door open for another White House campaign.
