WASHINGTON,DC: Fox News host Laura Ingraham is facing a wave of criticism on social media following a recent segment where she mocked Vice President Kamala Harris' age, despite Harris being just two years younger than Ingraham herself.

The backlash stems from a clip in which Ingraham, 61, takes a derisive tone towards Harris, 59, focusing on her age and the Democrats’ political strategies.

Laura Ingraham shifts focus from Biden’s absence to Harris’ age

In a segment that began with Ingraham discussing MAGA conspiracy theories about President Biden's absence from public view while he recovers from Covid-19 at his Delaware residence, the Fox News host shifted her focus to Kamala Harris.

Ingraham ridiculed the Democrats for their initial support of Joe Biden for a second term and then transitioning to Harris.

“She’s historic. She’s young,” Ingraham mockingly imitated the rhetoric of Democratic supporters. “By the way she’s going to be 60 on election day,” she added, emphasizing Harris' upcoming milestone birthday in a tone that many found to be dismissive.

Ingraham criticizes Biden’s legacy and slams Democrats for replacing him with Harris

As the segment continued, Ingraham took aim at Joe Biden’s legacy, claiming it would be remembered as a failure.

“The Democrats put all of their chips on Biden and they lost the bet,” Ingraham declared.

“He’s now going to go down in history as a failure who collapsed the first time he had to really defend his record on national TV. And then, Biden was humiliated by his own party, who forced him out.”

Ingraham also criticized the Democrats' move to replace Biden with Harris, describing Harris as an “untested backup player” rather than a strategic choice.

“If they really thought Harris could have done the job better than Biden, they would have forced them out months ago but they didn't,” Ingraham said. “This is an unserious party run by petty foolish people who always put their own personal interests ahead of what's best for this country.”

The comments have sparked a strong reaction online, with critics accusing Ingraham of ageism and hypocrisy, given that she and Harris are close in age.

Social media users call out Laura Ingraham for mocking Kamala Harris

Social media users have been quick to call out Laura Ingraham for her comments mocking Kamala Harris' age, pointing out the irony of her criticism given that Ingraham herself is 61.

One user added, "Laura ingraham is 61. So, ingraham is saying she herself is old, too old. Hear that Fox? Maybe you better consider putting the old girl out to pasture."

Another user replied, "And at 61, Laura Ingraham, once again, proves to be one of the most unpleasant personalities on television. She offers nothing except snarlingly snide and sarcastic spin."

One added, "She’s younger than you @IngrahamAngle. My God you’re a terrible person. How do you look at yourself in the mirror?"

Another replied, "Is Laura ok?"

One stated, "Awww, she’s jealous that Kamala is younger than her! How cute!"

"Laura's 61. Probably too old to be on TV," Said one.

One said, "She’s still younger than you, Laura."
