Shania Twain turns heads in strapless panther dress at 61st ACM Awards

Shania Twain, 60, defied age in a strapless panther dress at the 61st annual Academy of Country Music Awards on May 17. Designed by India-based couture label Falguni Shane Peacock, the country icon rocked the striking silver-and-black piece and proved that she's not afraid of a little glitz and glamour.

The legendary singer went full glam for one of the biggest music events as she added a pair of leather opera gloves featuring shinning buttons to her dramatic look. For jewellery, she chose a very minimal necklace and pendant earrings. Twain also wore diamond rings on each of her pinkie fingers.

Shania Twain made sure not to add much drama to her face and let her outfit make a memorable fashion statement instead. She kept her makeup simple but made heads turn with her new hairstyle. She rocked new bangs as her long auburn locks hung around her shoulders.

Shania Twain's gorgeous look from the designer’s Ashen Roses Collection was presented in partnership with airline Lufthansa. The sparkling dress not only featured the panther, but it also included waist-to-floor ribbons.

Shania Twain hosted the Academy of Country Music Awards for the first time. About the new opportunity, the 2020 Entertainer of the Year award winner said, "It’s a very big deal for me. I’m really honoured. I’m especially excited because it’s in Las Vegas. So, I feel like I’m hosting the world audience from my stage hometown, my live hometown."
