LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: California Governor Gavin Newsom took a jab at Joe Rogan on Saturday, October 18, after the podcast host mocked his interview abilities.

During Saturday’s episode of 'The Joe Rogan Experience', Rogan said, "He would cook himself", about what would happen if he interviewed the California Governor.

Gavin Newsom continues his feud with Joe Rogan

After Joe Rogan's remark, Gavin Newsom tweeted a chicken emoji, alongside the words, "Bawk, bawk @joerogan," to mock the podcaster.

Interestingly, the latest spat on X between the two continues an ongoing feud between the California Governor and Joe Rogan.

Last week, Newsom’s press office poked fun at Rogan by imitating President Donald Trump’s all-caps writing style, and wrote, "Joe Rogan is a snack-sized podcaster who can't stop talking about me (obsessed!, 'crush?', no thank you!) but is too scared to have me on."

The post also gave the POTUS a new nickname, as it continued, "Just like Dozy Don, [Rogan] often 'chickens out'."

Moreover, Newsom also signed the post "GCN", which is a reference to Trump frequently signing off posts with his initials, "DJT".

"I'll come on and will help save the show and its plummeting ratings!", the post concluded.

Furthermore, the California Governor later told the 'Higher Learning' podcast that Rogan "has been attacking me for years and years and years and won’t have me on the show".

Joe Rogan says Democrat voters 'don’t have any faith' in Gavin Newsom

Gavin Newsom's jab came after an October 8 episode of 'The Joe Rogan Experience', where Rogan said Democrat voters "don’t have any faith" in the California Governor and accused him of "ruining" San Francisco as its Mayor and California as its Governor.

"He wants to be president so bad. You can’t ruin a city, then go on to ruin a state, then say ‘Guys, that was just practice. Once I get in as president, I’m gonna fix it all," Rogan said during the podcast.

Meanwhile, when Rogan's guest, author Jack Carr, said, "He’s such a great politician, he’s so smooth", the podcast host said, "He’s not, though!"

"He’s a good bulls**t artist. But the things that he says when he gets confronted with anything, ‘We have the highest this and the highest that,’ everybody’s leaving! You have the highest unemployment! The highest homelessness! The money’s missing! You killed Hollywood!," Rogan added.

Moreover, he also slammed Newsom’s Covid vaccine policies and said, "You mandated vaccines for kids that didn’t even need them! You did some horrible s**t!"

Interestingly, Rogan doubled down on his claims in the Saturday, October 18 episode, as he told Andrew Schulz, "Whenever anyone says something bad about California, [Newsom] is like, ‘Number one in Fortune 500 companies, number one in higher education!’ It [had] that sh*t before you were there!"

Further during the podcast, Rogan also talked about Newsom’s mocking tweet and decried the Governor’s frequent social media trolling.

"You think that’s gonna work? Like, that’s so stupid. This is such a bad look… It’s a bad strategy," he said of Newsom's posts.

Rogan added, "I probably would have had him on. But now it’s like, what are you doing?"
