SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA: Gavin Newsom got into the Halloween spirit by sharing a costume guide inspired by some of Donald Trump’s top officials. The California governor didn't leave any stone unturned while mocking them.

On X (formerly Twitter), the Governor Newsom Press Office account revealed a lineup of hilarious Halloween costumes. The posts included images of Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, and Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F Kennedy Jr.

Each post featured not just images but also witty captions that poked fun at some of Trump’s closest allies. It seems the California governor is really in the Halloween spirit.

Newsom mocks Trump’s inner circle with satirical Halloween costume ideas

The first post in the series was captioned, “Presenting: Sloshed Signal Leaking Specter,” featuring a costume inspired by Pete Hegseth.

The Spirit Halloween-style kit for Hegseth comes equipped with "a water flask, razors for all troops, a revolving door of employees, the wrong Signal chat, a skateboard, and an axe." Among the items not included are “the ability to do a pull-up,” “an invite to a strip club,” “questionable tattoos,” and “an email from Mom.”

The second tweet was for Agriculture Secretary Rollins. Her “Farm Girl” costume includes a country-style outfit, Fox & Friends cue cards, Argentinian steaks, and flashcards on climate change denial. The “Not Included” section shows “agricultural experience, funding for SNAP, and compassion for the 42 million Americans.”

The third tweet shared was a costume featuring “everybody’s favorite ICE Barbie,” Homeland Security Secretary Noem, rebranded here as “Kosplay Kristi.” Her kit includes LARP gear for all occasions, aviator sunglasses for ICE raids, and her own film crew. The “Not Included” section mentions “not a lifetime ban from Petco, a selfie with Kim Jong Un, or a voodoo doll of the South Park writers.”

The final costume was aimed at RFK Jr. His kit includes “a measles party invitation, a CDC resignation rolodex, and a pair of jeans for the gym.” In the “Not Included” section, however, it lists “a dead bear cub, the brain matter the worm ate, and Tylenol,” which the HHS secretary has linked to an increased risk of autism.

Though the California governor mocked Donald Trump’s top officials with his fiery costume ideas, the president and his team have yet to respond.

Moreover, on Thursday, the POTUS and Melania Trump were busy hosting a lively Halloween celebration at the White House, where they greeted trick-or-treaters, handed out candy to children, and posed for photos.
