WASHINGTON DC: The White House turned into a glowing Halloween wonderland on Thursday night as President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump welcomed delighted trick-or-treaters, just hours after returning from a demanding trip to Asia.

The evening’s biggest stars weren’t mini-Trumps or superheroes but two infants navigating a toy McDonald’s drive-thru through the South Portico.

President Trump, smiling despite the long-haul flight, handed out Hershey chocolate bars wrapped in custom blue boxes bearing the presidential seal. Melania Trump stood beside him, elegantly giving treats to wide-eyed children dressed as pumpkins, witches, superheroes, and even Secret Service agents.

The showstopper came when two tiny infants rolled up in a stroller fashioned as a mini McDonald’s drive-thru. The costume, complete with toy burgers and fries, had both the President and First Lady laughing. Witnesses said Donald Trump couldn’t stop smiling as the duo waved at the crowd.

“They stole the show,” a White House staffer said, noting how the “McBaby” duo captured everyone’s attention. Photographers and guests scrambled to capture the adorable moment.

Adding to the spooky spirit, an Air Force string ensemble performed eerie yet playful versions of Halloween favorites and pop culture themes, including 'Game of Thrones', 'Harry Potter', and 'Pirates of the Caribbean'. The haunting strains echoed through candlelit corridors, complementing dozens of glowing jack-o’-lanterns along the grand staircase.

President Trump appeared from the southern entrance to the beat of Michael Jackson’s Thriller. The crowd cheered as he waved and joked with guests before beginning the candy handout.

Among the guests was White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, joined by her husband Nicholas Riccio and their infant son dressed as a pumpkin. The family posed with the first couple before blending back into the crowd.

The night capped off a festive return for President Trump after back-to-back meetings across Asia. Despite the whirlwind travel, both President Trump and First Lady Melania appeared relaxed, playful, and eager to celebrate with America’s youngest trick-or-treaters.
