"He’s detached from reality. He’s deranged. He’s a narcissistic sociopath. He’s failing, he’s floundering. He’s screwed up this war, he’s screwed up the economy,” Conway said.
He referenced individuals, including Pam Bondi, while discussing legal strategies linked to Trump.
“But Donald Trump doesn’t care about that because he’s detached from reality. He’s deranged. He’s a narcissistic sociopath,” Conway added.
He further said that Trump’s approach reflects a broader pattern of decision-making that does not align with political or legal realities. According to Conway, this has contributed to ongoing challenges facing Trump and his allies.
George Conway highlights Trump’s poll decline and internal team tensions
Conway discussed Trump’s shrinking support, noting that polls are now in the low 30s. He said the numbers haven’t shifted much lately but could change over time.
“His poll numbers are dropping, you know, down to the low 30s, which is kind of where it gets stuck. It’s hard to see them go any lower, but give them a chance,” Conway said.
He said Trump often blames people close to him when facing political trouble.
“As a narcissist, as a pathological narcissist, he can’t take the blame. So he wants to start chopping away at the people around him,” Conway said.
“And of course, he starts with the women because he’s a misogynist and unceremoniously gets rid of them,” he added.
Conway said this pattern also extends to male associates. He wondered why anyone still signs up to work with Trump, given all the drama and constant turnover.
These remarks come amid ongoing debates about Trump’s leadership style, the effectiveness of his policies, and the outlook for the next election cycle.
