Ghislaine Maxwell told DOJ Trump never displayed any inappropriate behavior in her presence, say sources

BRYAN, TEXAS: Ghislaine Maxwell, the longtime associate of Jeffrey Epstein, reportedly told federal prosecutors that President Donald Trump never acted inappropriately in her presence, according to multiple sources familiar with her recent discussions with the Justice Department.
The revelation came during an extensive nine-hour interview conducted over two days last month with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche.
Transcripts of Ghislaine Maxwell interview may soon be made public

Sources say Maxwell did not make any allegations or remarks that would be damaging to Trump and described no concerning behavior involving him.
Blanche’s meetings with Maxwell were reportedly at her own request. Maxwell, currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for sex trafficking convictions, is now seeking to appeal her case to the US Supreme Court.
According to sources, the Trump administration is actively considering releasing the full transcript of the Maxwell interview to the public potentially as early as this week.

In addition to the written transcript, an audio recording of the sessions exists, though it remains unclear whether it will be released alongside the documents.
Trump addressed the meetings publicly this week, distancing himself from any involvement in Maxwell’s recent transfer from a federal prison in Florida to a lower-security facility in Texas, saying, “I didn't know about it at all, no. I read about it just like you did. It's not a very uncommon thing.”
Trump added that all of Blanche’s conversations with Maxwell during their meetings were “totally above board.”
Ghislaine Maxwell cooperated fully, lawyer says
Maxwell’s attorney, David Markus, confirmed that his client was questioned about “over a hundred people” during the meetings and claimed that she “didn’t hold anything back.”
Following the first day of meetings, Blanche also hinted at future transparency, tweeting that the Justice Department would share its findings “at the appropriate time.”
Today, I met with Ghislaine Maxwell, and I will continue my interview of her tomorrow. The Department of Justice will share additional information about what we learned at the appropriate time.

The interview came amid Maxwell’s push for judicial relief. Markus noted that “Ghislaine would welcome any relief,” as her team petitions the nation’s highest court for a review of her conviction.
Speaking to Newsmax last week, Trump was asked when the public might learn about the meeting's contents.
He responded, “I don't know, because I haven't spoken about it, but he's a very talented guy, Todd Blanche, and a very straight shooter, and I think he probably wanted to know, you know, just to get a feeling of it, because we'd like to release everything, but we don't want people to get hurt that shouldn't be hurt. And I would assume that was why he was there. I want to release everything. I just don't want people to get hurt.”
Meanwhile, neither the White House nor the DOJ has issued a public response to the growing interest in the transcripts’ potential release.
