WASHINGTON, DC: Texas Representative Dan Crenshaw went viral on social media after he was caught saying he would "kill" conservative commentator Tucker Carlson in a hot mic moment, as reported by the Daily Mail

The incident took place after the former Navy Seal wrapped up an interview with GB News correspondent Steven Edginton. During the interview, Crenshaw slammed Carlson for opposing the US sending aid to Ukraine, saying that he "doesn't know what he's talking about."

The feud between Carlson and Crenshaw has been long ongoing, with the former Fox News host calling the latter "a very volatile person" who is "not emotionally prepared to lead anything" in an interview in December 2024.

Prior to that in April 2024, Crenshaw had attacked Carlson as a "click chaser" whose aim was to "defend America's enemies and attack America's allies."

What did Dan Crenshaw say about Tucker Carlson in the hot mic moment?

In the viral hot mic moment, Dan Crenshaw was heard being asked if he had ever met Tucker Carlson, to which he replied, "We have talked a lot on Twitter. If I ever meet him, I'll f**king kill him. He's the worst person."

As the clip went viral on X (formerly Twitter), Georgia Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene demanded a clarification from Crenshaw, asking whether he threatened to kill her "friend," to which he replied, "Lol, no," appearing to deny it.

Commenting on the incident, the interviewer, Edington, wrote on X, "After our interview, I asked Dan Crenshaw if he had ever met @TuckerCarlson. He said: 'I would kill him if I saw him.' I laughed it off. He said: 'No seriously, I would kill him.'"

Meanwhile, Carlson invited Crenshaw for an interview, writing, "Why don’t you come sit for an interview and we’ll see how you do? I’ll send you my address."
