Gov Sarah Sanders tears into 'dangerous' Tucker Carlson after he said sorry for electing Trump
WASHINGTON, DC: Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the governor of Arkansas, sharply rebuked Tucker Carlson on Thursday, April 23, accusing the former Fox host of spreading falsehoods after his recent criticism of President Donald Trump.
In a pointed CNBC interview, Sanders said Carlson’s anti-Trump commentary was not grounded in reality and warned that his messaging had become harmful to the public.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders says Tucker Carlson is misleading Americans
During an interview with Andrew Ross Sorkin, Sanders was asked about Carlson’s recent comments, claiming he regretted backing Trump and felt he had misled supporters.
Sanders responded that while she could not speak for Carlson personally, his recent commentary had become detached from facts.
“The things that he has been saying and the things he has been talking about over the course of the last several months are simply not based in fact,” she said.
She then intensified the criticism, accusing Carlson of pushing false narratives regularly.
“The type of misinformation that he’s putting out on a daily basis is not only wrong, but frankly they’re dangerous,” she added.

Sanders said she hoped Carlson would eventually reverse course and begin speaking more responsibly.
“I hope that he’ll have another about-shift at some point and start talking with real facts and stop misleading people around the country,” she said.
Sanders, who previously served as Trump’s White House press secretary, has remained one of the president’s most loyal defenders.
The dispute also carries a personal dimension. Sanders’ father, Mike Huckabee, recently clashed with Carlson during an interview in Tel Aviv.

After that exchange, Sanders said she was surprised by how calm her father remained and admitted she would have been far angrier in the same situation.
“Honestly, I’m shocked at how calm and measured my dad was,” she said, adding that there were many stronger words she could have used for Carlson.
Trump and Tucker Carlson split
Carlson, once one of the most influential pro-Trump voices in conservative media, has increasingly broken with the president in recent months.
He has criticized Trump’s handling of the Iran conflict and floated controversial claims involving Israel and US foreign policy.
Speaking on the April 21 episode of 'The Tucker Carlson Show', Carlson made a striking admission, telling listeners he regretted his role in helping elect Donald Trump.
🚨 HOLY SMOKES. President Trump just went NUCLEAR on Joe Kent, Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens and Megyn Kelly

“Kent is a LOSER, just like Tucker, Candace, Megyn, and the rest of them are LOSERS — You’re born that way, LOW IQ, and there’s not a damn thing they’re going to be able… pic.twitter.com/iOKou4DHhQ
“I’ll be tormented for a long time by the fact that I played a role, and I want to say that I’m sorry for misleading people,” Carlson said, in a rare apology that quickly drew attention.
The remarks came days after Trump publicly lashed out at Carlson, dismissing him as “low IQ” and “overrated” in a social media post, exposing a deepening rift between the two.
