LANSING, MICHIGAN: Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer ripped former President Donald Trump over his remarks about women's lives, and his claim they would not "think about abortion" if he won in November.

"That’s just ludicrous," the Democrat retorted to Trump during an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper on Sunday, September 22, according to The Hill.

The GOP presidential nominee, during a September 21 rally in North Carolina, listed how women's lives were different under his administration compared to President Joe Biden's, adding that his victory in November would resolve their issues.

According to Trump, women are poor, less healthy, less safe, stressed, and depressed at present than they were four years ago.

Gretchen Whitmer says Trump has no idea about problems of an 'average women' in America

Continuing her Trump-blasting, Gretchen Whitmer asserted the real estate mogul has no understanding of what the women in America go through on a daily basis.

"I think, you know, this guy just doesn’t understand what the average woman is confronting in her life in this country, and how could he? He’s not lived a normal life," the Michigan governor said.

"Unlike Kamala Harris, who has worked hourly jobs, who knows how important it is that women have health care and access to the medical care that they need."

"He's just deranged," Whitmer asserted.

Trump, in his rally, painted a picture of how the issues of women would disappear if he was elected instead of his Democratic rival, Vice President Kamala Harris.

"Women will be happy, healthy, confident and free. You will no longer be thinking about abortion," he claimed.

The MAGA spearhead attributed the reason for women's happiness to the individual states' right to make abortion laws, which resulted from the US Supreme Court's 2022 decision to overturn Roe v Wade.

Trump made a similar claim in a Truth Social post a day before his North Carolina rally after Harris' abortion-focused speech in Georgia, where she recounted the painful experience of women in states that prohibited abortion, holding the Republicans and her GOP opponent responsible for it.

In response, Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung claimed in an email that Democrats were using "hateful rhetoric" that led to two assassination attempts on the 45th president. He also demanded Harris and the Democrats apologize and tone down their Trump-bashing that instilled violence.

Internet joins Gretchen Whitmer to slam Trump over his remarks about women's lives and abortion

Gretchen Whitmer's attack on Trump prompted netizens to slam Trump for claiming women would not think about abortion, and they would be better off if he was elected.

"This angers me to no end. He's one of those who thinks women shouldn't be troubled with thinking. Women in those .@gop states will need to think about it That man is insane," a user said.

"He’s been deranged long before he ran before he was president. Not like it’s anything new," another added.

"He absolutely thinks women are still living the same way they did in the 50s. Dependent on the male figure, stay at home, take care of the babies, ask the husband before making plans, go to the Dr when you’re deathly sick only, get barefoot, get pregnant as many times as possible," read a third response.

"This new attack on women's intelligence is so insulting. It is difficult to understand how even the MAGA-MAGGOT women can buy this one. But then, cultists follow their leader - in this case setting the US back many, many decades" said an individual.

"His bizarrely stilted voice exposes the fact that he is clearly reading from a teleprompter. As idiotic as what he is saying is, it's obvious that he didn't even write it. There is someone in his campaign that is just as demented as he is writing this nonsensical garbage," a fifth user wrote.

"Deranged, yes, but also so stupid, moronic, weak, demoralizing, disgusting, disrespectful, disgraceful…the negatives go on and on," another remarked.

"He makes women sound like zoo animals," read one remark.

"Donold is Deranged. Behaves like a psychopathic moron," someone else said.
