Joe Biden suffers a gaffe while calling out Donald Trump

As per the Daily Mail, in a fiery speech at Hillsborough Community College near Tampa, Florida, President Biden didn't hold back, pointing fingers at his Republican opponent, former President Trump, for what he sees as a nightmare scenario unfolding with abortion rights.

With Florida's controversial six-week abortion ban looming, Biden urged women voters to rally behind him come November, slamming those he labeled as enemies of reproductive freedom.

Biden declared, referencing the impending abortion ban set to take effect in Florida, "Let's be real clear: There's one person responsible for this nightmare, and he's acknowledged and he brags about it: Donald Trump."

However, Biden's words with a possible slip-up caused a stir online. As reported by the Daily Mail, his gaffe on stage sparked a social media frenzy when he inadvertently quipped, "How many times does he have to prove we can't be trusted?"

Though Biden's mix-up made headlines, ABC News tried to cover the slip-up by mentioning that the President likely meant to say "he" instead of "we," alluding to Trump's stance on abortion.

Biden accused Trump of ushering in the end of Roe v Wade and paving the way for future restrictions, referencing the Dobbs v Jackson case, a pivotal 2022 Supreme Court ruling that shook the nation by imposing limits on abortions.

As per Britannica, Roe vs Wade, a landmark 1973 Supreme Court decision, legalized abortion nationwide, protecting women's access to reproductive healthcare.

Biden didn't hold back his criticism of Trump, stating, "He described the Dobbs decision as a miracle. I think it's coming from that Bible he's trying to sell. I almost wanted to buy one just to see what the hell's in it."

Biden didn't hesitate to address Trump's concerns about facing consequences for his actions.

"Donald Trump is worried that voters are going to hold him accountable for the cruelty and chaos he's created. The bad news for Trump is we are going to hold him accountable. We are - he should be held accountable," Biden asserted, vowing to fight for reproductive rights.

As reported by ABC News, in a sarcastic nod to Trump's praise for Florida's abortion laws, Biden mocked the former POTUS by quoting his words on Florida's six-week abortion ban, saying, "The states are working very brilliantly, in some cases conservative, in some cases not conservative, but they're working. It's a six-week ban in Florida, it's really brilliant, isn't it? Even before women know they're pregnant, is that brilliant?"

Standing alongside a powerful "Restore Roe" sign, Biden reiterated his pledge to preserve the protections of Roe v Wade into law if Democrats secure enough seats in Congress and he remains in the White House, as per ABC News.

Internet users assert Joe Biden spoke the truth accidentally

Mocking Biden for his gaffe, a user wrote, "Omg. The truth slipped out. He’s malfunctioning AGAIN."

Another user wrote, "Biden accidentally tells the truth."

A user commented, "How many times are we going to hear another lie out of Biden's mouth probably until his mouth no longer moves."

Another user commented, "Freudian slip? admitting 'we'…. don’t worry, we don’t trust you!"

A user stated, "Whoops, a little bit of truth slipped out for a change."
